    The size of what...?

I have an extremely short attention span... Did this have anything to do with dachshunds or those little red pepper things they stuff in martini olives?

I'm also fairly distracted because I'm trying to figure out some alternative uses for stale pop tarts... Not the obvious, which is decorative roof tiles, but something more daring... Like a glider or bicycle or mini sub.

Oh... Thank you for clearing that up... I had a feeling it had a more then ordinary bicycicular theme, leaning to the slightly nautical.

...all this talk of egg nog, something I cannot imbibe in or I'd be sick for the rest of the day. What about Lobster Bisque Nog? Or Bacon Cheese Nog?

Yeah, my homemade "Nog" is like 90 % dark rum... Maybe more... Plus whatever liquor I'm running low on and want to get rid of... Then I make the nog part just for color.... Actually, I forget what the label (I made) says, but I think it's "Deathnog".

I've been making the nog at home and transporting it in a jug to my friend's house for Christmas for twenty or so years... There we refil the traditional nog bottle with my concoction... Actually it's probably pretty nasty looking at this point. More so the label then the bottle.... Definitely looks like something you would find in one of those D&D taverns now.

My experience has been that in order to purchase, ride, license, insure, and maintain a motored cycle you need a sea of green! frown

...for a car I need the seven seas of green as I haven't driven in decades and thus would be assessed a "new driver" rate for at least 6 months.  I remember when insurance was optional, premiums were low beacuse every company wanted your business. Bakc in the 70s I paid 106$ per 6 months and that was drving a 4 speed big block V8 Olds 442. Now they have a captive audience.

...ahh Caturaday.  Have a holiday party to attend tonight   Couldn't come up with a costume (shopping around at all the second hand stores when you don't have a car is a pain and whe the weather is lousy the last thing I want to do is stand around at bus stops).   Not mandatory to dress up but still want to be in the spirit and have an idea. that works considering that Dia de los Muertos.is also celebrated around this time.

Appears that all the wet stuff they were predicting earlier in the week will not happen until tomorrow.  Joy.

I cannot send back my clock as I do not know how.

  • kyoto kidkyoto kid Posts: 41,213

...what?  I thought that didn't happen until the next week or two.  The louses up bus schedules for me tonight which means they go out of service an hour earlier.

...thanks. as I mentioned, have a halloween party tonight and don't want to get stranded because the buses stop running an hour earlier.  Impossible to get a cab around Halloween (especially tonight when there eill be parties and most pubs will host events) without reserving several days in advance.

No, I was trying to add a youtube video but it failed. Don't know how to do and the forum help thread is 64 pages long so I gave up finding out.
