Joe, was there a texture map for the Banded suit?

None of the textures I included were mapped. They were all done with tiles and shaders, MAT Presets should be in poses/joequick/bandedbodysuit/suitmats. I think there's also a copy of the straight shader versions in the materials folder (so you can apply them to other things so materials match the suit).

If you're looking for a template for making a texture map. Here you go: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8mcn6n1ubkmczj4/BandedBodySuit.jpg

that banded suit looks awesome, where can one get it?

Caught this on Rendo earlier, Rawn. I was all ready to see the obvious choice, the new texture for Dark Embrace (which looks great, don't misunderstand me).

I think you captured the character well even while going in a different direction. Nicely done!

ETA: I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something familiar about your new Avi. *g*

I actually started out the shot using that harlequin outfit.....but the vibe ended up going in another direction as i went along.

Yeah...I was messing with my avatar...didnt quite turn out like i had in my head...so I may try another version ;)

    ..... edit

ok...new version in place...I like it better

I'm also working on a Genesis Sinestro, though, there's something about the old Apollo one I still like best.

Also, in news totally unrelated to 3D rendering, I found some amazing, amazing Man of Steel artwork while browsing tumblr a couple days ago.

    Check it out: http://www.warrenmanser.com/www.warrenmanser.com/MAN_OF_STEEL_-_STYLE_GUIDE_Mansart.html

The work is by an artist named Warren Manser. Truly awe-inspiring :O

The images are very good i saw them myself...as far as i can tell he added some lights effects and stuff like that...not very difficult to do i suppose...i might do a similar image using Henry's face just to see the difficult into this...

Seeing Gregorius's Superman for Genesis inspired me to post a render of my Superman for Genesis. Cobbled together from the Basic Super Suit, Ice-Boy's Suit (S shield, retextured by me) and a trans mapped Super boots with a basic Displacement map.

Just saw this in the Store and thought with a few add-ons it would make a decent Batmobile.
