    It's interesting to see how these turn out in IRay, been converting some of those old props to aweSurface not long ago. Often they don't have proper height maps, only the diffuse plopped into the bump channel. Makes it a real challenge to get a descent result. I can imagine it's even harder with IRay, with the lack of micro displacement?

    If there isn't a bump or displacement map I just try the diffuse map and see how it works, usually it turns out not too terrible laugh

    Not something I do much of is Animation, this is the latest effort. Done in Iray and edited in Vegas Pro 16.

    I have done a bit more to Warg and this is iteration two. The render of the Lycan didn't want to play well with the Warg render and, because it is separate from the grass in the Warg render when put together in Vegas he looks as if he is running on top of it laugh Back to the grind.

    Anyone tried the new Matte Fog function, bottom of the Environment pane?

    I fired up an old render and tried it out. The one thing I can't figure out is how to move it back and forward. As you can see the top of the two sails at the front are sticking out of it.

    A quick one trying out HD Volumetric Clouds with Terradome 3 and CS Dimetrodon. Lighting is Sun and Sky Only.

    Everything has been tweaked in Iray as I just can't leave things as they are :)

    Just carrying on with some quick setups using things from my Runtime.

    This is Planet Teros, for the rocks, Rigged water Iray 2 for the stream, water volume 03, and the small waterfall, pour 03, and Panthers. The lighting and background is an HDRI.

    I found this hair in my Runtime and Sandirayed it. It looks really good. It come up as Antonia Flo Hair and loads as flo-app but it isn't in the store. I did this short Animation to show it.

    Moving on I have rendered everything at the same time instead of compositing each figure so the Lycan is no longer running on the grass. I also changed it to night.

    I think roughly a week of rendering as it was done with three different camera angles although I only used two in the end :)

    Playing around with the Old Station and old Railway Line I noticed something that should have been picked up before publishing. It looks to me like a UK station and line and yet the signals and signs are on the wrong sides :) Standing on the platform with your left side towards the line and looking along it then the train will be coming towards you which means the signalling and signs for that train should be on the same side facing it so the driver can see it. If it is in fact a US of A station then they are obviously correct. :) I'll have to go and change all the signs and signals and re-render the images :)
