I always enjoy seeing your Avatar Babies. I always recognize little Wendy and little Jaderail, but the little fellow on the far right reminds me of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine (as a baby). :)
Oh dear. Maybe I shouldn't tell you who it is meant to be . Stupidly enough I do know who they are all portraying in Wendy's world.

Why not? I'm fairly certain it's not little Cho.
No it isn't indeed a little cho, that is the next one over. :red:, but he does post in this thread on occasion.
I think there is a little Frank in there if I'm remembering correctly.
There's no fluffy teeth monsters in there Frank!
Is it stupid that I'm dividing my free time between quantum physics and learning C#? And that's just for fun. Ugh, I'm such a nerd. :/

BBSFFC stands for Blum Blum Shub Fun and Friviolity Club, it is our current Skype group consisting of Barry's friends, if you want in, major suck up to Barry required!!!!
Pffff...that is not Frank. Frank is fluffy and has lot's of teeth!
I don't use Skype or any other IM for that matter. I find it too invading if you know what I mean. Sooner or later you find yourself wondering how the hell you can get your life back without stepping on anyone's toes. Blegh.
I just had a stupid moment.
My desktop background changes every 10secs and I noticed the Daz logo on a shirt of a person in one panorama image and thought, ooh this is a Daz photo
then I realized it was just my V4 update icon :red:
Yeah. I'm a very hairy person.
welcome to the club
My wife threatens to shave me in my sleep.
All American-registered Screamliner's are now ordered by the FAA on the ground. This is the worst nightmare for Boing. I wonder how much they'll loose by having to redesign an entire airplane. It can't be cheap...
...it happened to Lockheed in the 1950s with the L-188 Electra. (pic below)
The Electra brought higher speeds and smoother, more comfortable flights to medium and long range routes compared to the piston liners of the day. Unfortunately there was a flaw in the engine mount design that cause them to be susceptible to a phenomenon called "Whirl Mode" that affected the outboard engines. This would result in serious up and down vibrations that led to destructive fatigue in the wings.
After three serious crashes, all 188s were grounded by the FAA. At the time six major US airlines (Eastern, American, Braniff International, National, Northwest Orient, and Western Airlines) a well as several major foreign carriers (including KLM, Quantas, Varig, and Cathay Pacific) flew Electras. Lockheed modified at it's own expense the engine mounts and wing skin of all aircraft in a programme known as L.E.A.P. Though the plane was re-certified by the FAA following the upgrade, the public had lost confidence in the aircraft because of the mishaps. Most of these once luxurious aircraft were relegated to "milk run" operations in the 1960s before being phased out in favour of short to medium haul jets like the 727, BAC One-eleven, DC-9 and 737.
Lockheed lost nearly 120$ million between the cost of the refit programme cancelled sales, and lawsuits which in the early 60s was a lot of money (back then, a 100 passenger Boeing 727, Boeing's then most popular product, listed for about 4.5$ million).
In these days where a single jetliner (like the 787) can carry a price tag of nearly a quarter billion, loss of sales could result in a huge hit to the company's bottom line considering how much it staked on the 787's development.
Weird old ads drop.
Stupid Tee shirts
Nice ones.
Is the arrow pointing the right way?
OMG! The things that passed legalities of advertisement in those days is appalling. And to top it off they announce science backs up their bull. Very sad, very stupid.
Is the arrow pointing the right way?
Stupid is as stupid does.
