    drachenlords: Beat me, how you can make such a wonderful render. Truly a beautiful day!

    Horo: But of course, snow. However, snow is just frozen rain (not really, but kind of) surprise However, what made me think of rain was the streaks. That's OK for wet snow, I guess. Dry snow, however, in my view floats down and that will give a diferent view, probably.

    Here's my first entry. Somehow this one looks a bit like snow, but it really is supposed to be rain. I did not attempt the very realistic version (did that earlier, in a 'storm' contest render). I went for a stop motion view of large drops instead.

    Two stacked terrains, two horses (posed in DAZ Studio), two dead trees that need revitalising and lots and lots of drops. Oh, one volumetric cloud too.

    Hansmar - well, strong wind, low light, slow shutter speed, that makes streaks of snow flakes. wink
    Very nice entry from you here. Great sky and the two beasts are a good idea.

  • @ Mermaid, mtnmen and Hansmar:

    Thank you

    @Hansmar:
    Nice idea to make the rain out of single drops. So it almost seems as if the time is frozen.
    The sky is fantastic.

    Not enough 'human models' are used in Bryce: obviously, as it is mainly a terrain-based/biased 'ware, so when one appears, it is always appreciated - very nicely done ed3D.

    Jay (looks like the Irish badge disappeared in the update - ah well)

  • @ Bigh:
    Thank you

    @ Horo:
    Thank you. I have made the fog from a cube with a volume mat, the Haze and some 2D planes with foggy clouds in the scene and in front of the camera.

    @S Ray:
    A weather vane? This is a real cool idea on this subject and nicely put into the picture.
    I like it.
