sriesch: Looks scorching hot to me. Wonderful landscape, colours and atmosphere.
_and how to select Just the capri pants of V4 bobysuit
_Without the rest of the bodysuit
_To add Bryce cloth\fabric_??
_Thanks_``~...
Freak Weather _cool _imaginative
Perfect Weather For Creating Life _Inventive !!
Heat _Looks Hot _well done
Dangerous weather for driving _looks stormy\rainy
Flood _looks like they could call the Coast Guard or the ThunderBirds
Whatever the weather _ well done _looks like from movie
sriesch : very cool, hmm..... hot render. Well done !
Sriesch - great render.
Ed3D - nice render
ed3D: Nice render. I think you probably cannot select the pants alone. The body suit is probably a picture texture on the figure. You might be able to select the legs etc. of the figure and give it another texture.
_alrite _But Pants would cover any legs_yes_??
_make one perhaps
thanks_``~...
@ed3D, can you just <ctrl>click on the pants, then guess at which item from the resulting context menu is the pants, then click on that to select it (then apply a material like you normally would)? Looking at your render I see what appears to be a little bit of pokethrough on the pants, so I'm thinking they are actually a separate object, not just a material applied to the figure.
ed3D : nice idea, maybe you still can correct the little pokethrough.
Thank you for your comment.
ed3D: sriesch is right. I didn't notice the poke through, but it certainly exists, so the pants is a separate object and CTRL-click should give you the option to select it! To correct the poke through, you would have to go back to the posing software and do it there.
_alrite, thanks for all comments _Yes, can CTRL-click for select
_with Templet from DazForum and texture from V4 bodysuit for size _made texture then put on in DazStudio _ then send to bryce another scene >save
then open White pant scene >then merge texture scene >then delete White pants figure >save >poke-through >touch up PS Elements 2
_thanks_``~...
_And entry #3:
Title: Expecting a Flood
thanks_``~...
ed3D - very good entry.
L haven't been by for a while and I've almost run out of time to create another for this contest, so I thought I should take a look at the last few days...
Hansmar - "Dangerous Weather for Driving" reminds me of a lot of days when I was a commuter (I'm so enjoying my retirement!) Nicely done.
adbc - "Flood" has such a nice water effect, the waves are looking really good.
sriesch - quite a contrast to adbc's - hot and dry and very dramatic.
ed3D - "Expecting a Flood" but with that sky I think she's mistaken! She's come out rather well (I'm still finding it very difficult to get skin looking anything like real in Bryce). Good stuff.
Phew, I could just finish my 2nd entry yet. I call it "Personal Cloud" or "Personal Weather"
Electro-Elvis - really clever idea, you can see his misery!
Electro-Elvis - great render, even a puddle of water. Outstanding idea.
Another fun challenge, lots of excellent images and inventive takes on the theme.
Here’s my entry:
“Foggy Bottoms Dawn”
The “fog” is a volumetric texture applied to a large cube surrounding the scene and the camera. The texture uses a solid white color with with a low frequency white “blobby” alpha channel applied to the density w/ a quality of 60.
Main but;ding is the “Marine House” by 1971s
4 (barley visible) buildings from Stonemason’s “The Streets of London”
The boat is from ShareCG (apologizes to the creator whose name I’ve forgotten)
The bridge (again barley visible) created in Modo
Lit by 2 ranged omni lights in the street lights and 2 in the windows. Ambient illumination by a 2048x2048, 64 quality “Use Sky” IBL.
Rendered at the Normal AA setting, about 4 hours 30 minutes render time.
Thanks for looking!
Dan - great idea and superbly done. The fog patches look great.
The background was made using an hdri file. I hope that is allowed.
Don't close it just yet still working.....
ed3D : Really good, well done.
MelanieL : thanks.
Electro-Elvis : very original idea.
Dan Whiteside : Impressive render.
Apoc : very nice image.
