Yeah, DAZ seemed to have dropped that along with the rest of the things we don't see around here anymore. That's why all of us PC members we're surprised to see a sudden reemergence of the Sneak Peak Thread over in the Members forum.

The more renders I see of Aiko the more I want her in my cart. Only problem is my obsession is such that I don't want to buy it until I can afford the Pro bundle :p

Well, as they say ask and ye shall receive. Just received the commission from a recent work I did. Aiko's being downloaded as I type.
I think the best thing about new character releases is all the extra Genesis content that usually arrives with them. Tons of great new clothes and hairstyles along with Aiko 5, as well as fresh new character textures. I totaled up the amount it would cost to buy everything in the pro pack separately, and it's almost crazy how much you save with it. Add in PC discounts and it almost feels like theft!
I'll get some renders up once everything is downloaded. She's just perfect.
Well, I promised so here's one I cooked up recently to put a bit of an JRPG spin on Aiko. I need more practice at doing fake HUD's, but it didn't come out too bad.

To me the new Aiko looks like what would have been or what use to be the Aiko Realistic Morph. And like Hiro 5 Over priced.

You're not just buying the shape though. You get some high quality textures in the package, as well as a new UV set for future releases. I confess I don't actually own Hiro 5 yet as I find Hiro 4 Genesis morphs more than suited for my needs so far, but I confess I'm always on the prowl for more character textures. You can never have too much variation for Genesis.

Yes, very much so (at least as regards the morph). That "realistic" morph was part of what made A3 so popular. Hitomi, after all doesn't really have a "realistic" morph, just a few optional, more realistic details.
And, considering the popularity of video games, a game-style figure is sure to find a home.
Speaking for myself, I really like the figure, and am very underwhelmed by some of the add-on content. Not that it's poorly designed (although I cannot imagine ever using that bow dress), but that it is repetitive. I suspect this has more to do with the fact that Genesis has been out long enough to have gathered a lot of the basic styles of content that always has been around, and the fact that autofit has improved enough for the older items of the same general style to be usable.
But I like the figure a lot, as well as the add-on characters, poses and expressions.
I like it too and may get the starter bundle plus I am a PC member so for me the starter bundle is only $24.48 on sale. The pro bundle does not have enough for me to want to pay the extra bit of cash. I kind of like the look of scifi candy and pale shadows but I could get those outfits later on if I ever need them.
I just purchased the Pro Bundle, and I've been playing with A5 a bit. She reminds me, a little, of Terai Yuki 2. I loved TY2's style, so A5 makes me pretty happy.

One thing I'm concerned about the wrinkles under A5 eyes.,,I feel it seems a lttle deep (my feeling)
I hope some good modelor remove or reduce A5 wrinkles morph,, (as Free ^^;)

I asked DAZ about the march sales and the additional A5 discount. Answer was that it has not been determined yet. I'll probably never use A5, because I mainly use male figures. But my birthday is in march and I am planning for some b-day shopping and it would be nice to recieve an extra discount. I need to bet wether the cost of A5 will cover my march discount ><<br /> I can't determine that, because I don't have a clue about what they're up to.

I was unsure about buying her, because of my budget but after a discussion about her on deviantART, I got her anyway.
I don't really care about MM (I might not buy anything) but I do like the character. She's the kind of character I need for my renders (since I want them to be similar to my drawings). I don't have A4 or Stephanie, so she's a welcome addition.
One quick question regarding Pure Hair Sweet:

yep. I turned it off in the surfaces tab - opacity to zero.
It took me about half a second to decide if I wanted Aiko 5 and about 3 hours to decide if I wanted the pro bundle the standard or vanilla. Then once I decided to get the Pro bundle it was still the first day she was out............ Took me this long to get a render done of her.
Aiko5 at 51% with quite a few others mixed in including S4,S5 V5 A3 and a couple others. Along with some muscle, most set at 41%
I saw this pose and I thought yup thats it. she looks like she is asking, "You had the Guildhall for HOW LONG without rendering it even once?"(at least a year lol)
I like A5 though I do find it kinda strange that she is more realistic than anime style... yeah probably covered by other people but....

From my experience with a figure like the one zilvergrafix posted, depending on the morphs used neither one of the solutions you mentioned work well. I have them both and they serve their purpose if you aren't using custom morphs on the chest.
Not sure what zilvergrafix is using though.
