It does just that, click on the little 'i' icon, and you get taken to the readme page, which has a link to the live product page too.

I saw that when I ran it on my laptop, but like you said it doesn't link directly to the product page unfortunately, and many of them do not have wiki pages.

There are very few that don't have links in my experience, and you can still get to the Product Page even if they don't. It is not perfect yet by any means, but it is getting there, day by day.

But I digress ... Unless of course the DIM allows you to link (open up in a browser) the web page for the products you are downloading. You see, I (and I assume a lot of people) like to download the product pictures to go along with the downloads so I can use a thumbnail browser to look through my gigs, and gigs of content.

But they have even buggered that up, because they went with the trendy "flash pop-up pics" which makes it MUCH more difficult to save the pics. *SIGH*

Right-click, open in new tab. And yeah, not thrilled about it.

Just a thought, but you wouldn't happen to have two monitors with one turned off?

I can't think of any reason why a newly installed product would try to display on the secondary monitor but I kicked myself once after wasting an afternoon trying to find a similar problem when an application came up on the turned off secondary monitor after it had last been running there.

That's only if you want the small pic, and only the first one at that ... I want the larger pics, and I usually want just about all of them. In fact, having most of them is usually a requirement for an accurate accounting of the content.

So for me, it's now the old F12 to display the underlying web contents, find the pics, copy url, paste-and-go, save as. Obviously a LOT more steps than before, where you simply browsed the pics and "Save As".

LOL, no I wish, Leather ... I always turn both monitors on. :)

Hey, I was having the same problem: 25% CPU in task manager, but no display on Win 8 (x64). I started messing with the 'compatibility' settings and tried every earlier OS. When I got to Win 98/ME compatibility, the GUI suddenly showed up. I don't really want to run it at such a lame level, but it now seems to work.

Wow, really? I tried that too, but I always stop at WinXP Sp1, as I figure anything recent is going to work with that or not at all.

I'll definitely have to give that a shot, thanks for the tip!

I have just had to use Win98 as the level for it to run on Windows 8 x64 :/

Wow, to my amazement, that DID do the trick! Thanks so much Spearhead!! I can't figure out for the life of me why this would work, but then I realize ... at this point, I don't really care. :)

    Thanks again.

Hmmm... interesting. I have no problem with it on Win8 x64 and I run as a Standard User. I don't like what it does and have decided to not use it anymore, but it runs properly.

No puedo instalar daz3d studio pro en windows 7 64 bits, el downloader solo es para versiones de 32.

    ¿Alguien me puede ayudar?

Both 32 bit and 64 bit versions should be available in your downloads. My Account > My Donwloadable Products

Thee is also a file called Genesis Starter Essentials, which you MUST also install.
