Sunday morning, foot being iced down - will go fetch breakfast once the cold pack is done.

Tired, but not as stressed today - it's nice to have a place all to myself even if it's small. :)

Going to hole up and write today! :cheese: I have BBQ brisket for dinner and I think, for lunch, I'll have a fish sandwich!

Work tomorrow meh, pre-op doctors meeting Tuesday morning meh. Lots of meh next week, meh. :-S

...same here. Not sure what will happen now that out longest running and most stable client is gone. Have yet to close the final monthly billing and make sure all the remaining stock is shipped off to the new location, but that will only take several days at best.

One of our people (who primarily dealt with overseeing the warehouse duties for this account) was already released.

If I ever needed to hit the Megabucks, it is now. Age used to be respected as it was usually equated with valuable job and lifetime experience. In these fast paced, upwardly mobile days, it seems to be more of a detriment. Companies want young people who they can underpay and groom into good little drones, not some old fragger who actually has a grasp of what's really going on.

Morning. Warm under a big blue sky today. Up the street a huge crane is lifting prefabricated apartments onto a seven storey block a half a floor at a time.

Drives me crazy, having to use two models, one which moves realistically and one that looks realistic fully lit, Muat be missing something vital, ah well imperfect vision is often worked-around

keeps the stand ins and stunt doubles employed. iirc, Kevin Costner had a body double.

i can't find any more puffnstuff episodes to watch on utube. the theme song is stuck in my head.

it looks like a goofy kids show, but it has some stellar talent. Billy Hayes - Witchiepoo - she throws her whole body into it, uses all her props. Witchiepoo was hi tech. she had a boom broom and an imaging machine.

Jack Wild as Jimmy. He played the Artful Dodger in Oliver Twist. According to a wiki page, Sid and Marty Kroft paid him a million dollars to play Jimmy. this was back in 1969, million dollars was worth something. He passed away in 2006.

If you are big enough and have the right management you can send out a stand in for a lighting setup and wait in a cool trailer until everything is ready for a performance :)

...o geez, just noticed I have another little green box and addict status.

Looks like I need to find a twelve step programme.

Oh wait, don't need to bother with that as changes associated with the new site have pretty much helped curb any desperate needs for a 3D fix. ;-)

Cool that Garibaldi does that, but beagle's hair is usually longer and flat against the body, not short hairs sticking out. Don't mean to be overly critical.

...mmmmmm...beagle drop soup, a delicacy in some countries.

    Speakin' of eatin'

It's Sunday, and that means cooking up a big batch of my special pasta sauce for the week.

Hand chopped garlic sautéed in pure virgin olive oil
Hand minced onions (prepared as above)
    Fresh Crimini Mushrooms
    Organic crushed tomatoes
    Organic Diced tomatoes
    Mix of fine Italian herbs
a generous sprinkle of granulated garlic
My local market's fresh hand made hot Italian sausage.

Simmered for a couple hours to perfection in a cast iron skillet.

Served over medium Shell Pasta and covered with hand shredded 6 month aged Asiago.

Add a glass of fine red wine and that's good eatin'

...put the remainder up in separate containers and I have fine homemade dinners for the next several days.

...did I mention that I love to cook?

and talk sports. If I ever get to the Northwest, I'll have to give you a PM. Hope you don't mind if I bring the wife along, although she certainly doesn't talk sports.

I had a beagle for 15 years. Even his winter hair was short. And if the hair didn't stick out here and there, this would look just like the texture map. Just saying.

Would it have been wrong of me to hope a non-discriminatory princess alert would have followed or been attached?
