muffin magick. eatz em, while it's still warm from baking.

nostalgic for old easy bake oven. baking from light bulb heat.

Who knew that all these years later, we'd realize that that was the most efficient use of the incandescent light bulb? :shut: %-P

I share your sadness. Due to some devastating personal news I won't be able to take advantage of the discounts or join any of the cheer surrounding March madness.

Here is hoping both our situations work themselves out in a positive manner. Trying to stay positive.

Hey devastating doesn't sound too good

    Today's Complaints (I think it's still today):
Cold as it has been for a very long time, 25 degrees Fahrenheit. Feetz is cold no matter what I do.
I got a good backache from all the shopping and running around I did yesterday, yep it still hurts even now.
I spent most of my day working on a FreeBe prop set, and missed loads of good posts.

Today's None Complaints (I see it is now a new day, but who cares):
I got a Subway Club all the way for din din and it was so good, I should have bought two (mini complaint).
I finished the FreeBe prop thing and it seems to be doing well so far. No Issues reported yet.
And the Best for last, I had today off from Dialysis, that's two weeks in a row now. It might get even better than that soon.

It is always today! Is it yesterday? No, it's today. Is it tomorrow? No, it's today. Tomorrow never comes. Thursday comes, but not tomorrow.

So you might as well do all those things you were putting off 'till, well, you know. :P

...OK I do believe in IT fairies, I do, I do, I do, I do.....

Actually it was in the form of a friend with far more IT savvy than I have who came by today and helped me solve the vexing configuration issues I've been dealing with. Seems there were other drivers (which I was not aware of) besides those for the GPU that needed to be installed. Took him just over an hour and now Win7 sees the 1TB HD, GPU and boots up real fast. Have to get online tomorrow to get driver updates for the GPU and SPs for Win7 but that I know how to do.

...oh and does the display look so good now. Clean and crisp, no more clunky looking icons and slow screen refreshes (as I am not using the intel chipset)

    ...and it's really fast too.

Now, in my best Ben Grimm voice... It's Installing Time!!!!

All I can say is YEE HAW!! It's so good to hear your (almost fully) up and running on your new PC. I'm so looking forward to what you can do with it.

P.S. Thanks from before, I'm told I might not need anything but maintenance in the future. Happy Dance.

In THEORY, C8.5 won't ship until end of Summer, with C9 being next year sometime - check on Carrara Cafe, they have a news item...

Sunday morning, foot being iced down - will go fetch breakfast once the cold pack is done.

Tired, but not as stressed today - it's nice to have a place all to myself even if it's small. :)

Going to hole up and write today! :cheese: I have BBQ brisket for dinner and I think, for lunch, I'll have a fish sandwich!

Work tomorrow meh, pre-op doctors meeting Tuesday morning meh. Lots of meh next week, meh. :-S
