Alternate UVMaps linked to morph dial?

I am making a full body morph for G3M - a toon dwarf even more stylized than 3DUniverse, etc.  When I make the uvmap for the custom clothes that fit the morphed G3M, I must choose to either have a lot of distortion in the G3M shape or the toon dwarf shape.  But, I think Studio allows for multiple uvmaps.  So I plan to make two versions of the uvmap for the clothing in my modeling software, one to fit the G3M base shape and one for my stylized dwarf shape.  However, I am not very familiar with changing uvmaps in Studio.

1)  Is there a good tutorial for switching the uvmaps in Daz Studio?

2) Is there a way to link the switch of a uvmap to the setting of a FBM dial?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

  • 1) from the Surfaces pane option menu just Load UV set and select the OBJ with the alternative UVs, name it, and then use File>Save as>Support Assets>UV Asset to save it so it loads with the figure.

    2) perhaps possible, though I think linking a list property to a numeric property (UV Set to morph value) is not straightforward at best and if it can be done is tricky to save.
