    They are marked as HD but it looks to me that they are just moving bones rather than adding anything extra to that.

    I have a feeling that with all this new stuff 'old'  Daz customers will finally start to drop off because of 'buying' fatigue - just a hunch

    painted themselves into a corner

    if the forums are anything to go by....

    Remember when a topic in the Commons would be off the first page in a few hours if not posted in... nowadays it can be still on the first page after a day without posting in it..

    and the number of posts in the PC board are pretty much on life support.

    You should have looked for G8 instead of V8.

    ha yes, I have had three cars, all brand new, the second last one women used to leave their name and phone number on the windscreen, but when the car got old they stopped doing it..... so there is a lot to said for having a young car :)

    If I have to use premade figures for my work I want them to be as perfect as possible. Otherwise I could use my own hand made imperfect original figures. The last Genesis figures are more flexible and have more visual impact than previous ones. But I'm not sure yet that G8 much better than G3.

    If I remember correctly, poses can be adjusted by 45 degrees for the arms and 6 degrees for the legs - there is already a script option available to make the adjustment automatically.

    I see that this G8F is labelled as V8, so picked up on that...sorry if it caused confusion.

    But fibermesh eyebrows?  Next it will be fibermesh pubes and armpit hair and arms and legs stubble... someone will then have to design a bikini wax kit for her!

    I have had enough. If there is clothing and hair that crosses over from G3 as I see in the promo email images, I might go for something if appealing... otherwise, I don't think so.

    Misty's Carrara friendly G3 does enough for me.

    And I have been making custom eyelashes from dynamic hair for about 3 years now, and can control colour, thickness, shape, etc. Job done there. Good for book covers where you need a face to pop out!

    Silene, the paid for flagship character is V8 the base is Genesis 8.

    I only have G8F the base

    many will say V8 as used to speaking of Victoria and Michael

    I did not actually own enough pro bundles to get much discount as was only the Victoria ones I have piles of pro bundles but not hers well not as a set actually have most the items in them which did not count.

    halfway there.

    crashing repaired.  her 'base' shaping parameters working.

    cornea bulge works.  body "base" shapes seem to work okay., 
    i haven't bought her morphs ++ sets yet, or V8.  over 50 bucks (doh)
    dunno why they dont include the morphs expansion in the Vicki pro bundle,

    Wendy, Ah, OK.... it's the Victoria part that I was assuming came with the G8F base this time. I got the same confusion when V6 came out. Easily done. I still have bought some further characters that are for the 'Victoria versions' from various sources, but apply them to the base and get some interesting results. But have stopped that silliness now.

    g8f = 16556

    yep, no heel bones for G8F

    eyelashes don't seem to be a geograft

     

    they put dev tools in the g8 starter essentials.  ?

    The difference in vert count can almost entirely be accounted for by the eyelashes being separate (I havent checked this myself, but think I read it somewhere). Impressed that you have already made a start!

    eyes fatigued from looking at code all day. lil giddy, overtired.  tee heeeee thought of a code name for her,  Veronica L8ke 

     

    had a total little girl crush on veronica lake, like 7 years old i was doing the hair over my eye, begging moms for  dresses.  mebbe is why i like dressing up 3d dolls dresses deprived childhood.  oh, remember gene tierney?
