I am surprised there is no Morpheus for G8F / G3F by now.
I got the feeling that Morpheus G3M was sort of a rush job. It'll be interesting to see if there is a G3Female version. I think the G3 Female official release schedule is probbaly over. But you never know
Yeah, I feel the Morpheus product bundle needs some ease of use tweaks but not many. I felt the same way about the Toon Generations 2 product too.
I've sort of noticed there are more male 3D model products lately that I wouldn't have expected given there is no G8M.
Given that about all the new female products released are G8F or G8F/G3F I guess that makes the argument that the later release of the Genesis male products gives 5 months less time for release than the female equivalent wrong because that's know on a G8F release cycle.
Why would you want that ? Generally the G8 seems better than G3, and much better than G2 no ? Not to mention compatibility...
May I ask what those issues are ?
While I normally use the current generation the most, I still do use G2M and Genesis quite frequently. Therefore I can understand why the poster wants the same deal that came with G8F.

Thank you Laurie. I just came into the game, so when I compare I really, really prefer G3 and G8 to everything that came before, and wouldn't consider buying V4 for example (she's still pretty expensive !) or even using some G2 props, which just don't look as good to my eyes.
Even if someone felt that the older generations were no longer needed now that G8 is here, buying the V8 pro pack did give you the V5, V6 and V7 pro packs for free. Thus even for someone only wanting to use G8, those older pro packs will give you a ton of hair, skins, and clothes which can be used on G8, albeit some of the older skins need some 3rd party utilities to use on G8.
Of course if you already own all the old pro packs, like a lot of us do, then this offer is of less appeal (although we did get an additional discount on V8).
I actually have begun to suspect something is wrong- We should've had the newest Gen 8 figure by now. It most certainly will be this week. Given how quickly they were putting the other characters out delaying until the 4th week of August seems unusual.
I'm largely unimpressed with G8F this time around. Unlike with G2F, I see no need to really go to G8F. I still feel fine using G3F and actually feel bad about some of my G8F purchases. I thought the male looking features were a one time thing, but apparently, it's a running theme. At least there have been some nice characters by PA's since.
I could be mistaken, but when I shop for content and use the filter under figure...Gen 8 male comes up...... It may be my imagination, or I missed something in the thread. Gen 8 female I find is better than Gen 3, but I am still waiting for HD morphs for Gen 8/V8. Gen 3 looks more realistic at this time since she has HD morphs.
Compared to what Aiko is supposed to be known for, that IS pretty realistic. Seriously, deflate her head and shrink her eyes and she'll look exactly like a real life woman.
But where G8 is supposed to be so "backwards compatible" if you want to fully utilize that feature, you'll need the older bases for converting some of the less supported assets like UVs and Morph Transfer.
If anything, the males are much dire need this treatment than the females, as they get far less resource support as it is.

Why is that? If you release some G8M related products when he is released, they should sell like hotcakes.

For V8 it was buy it and turn in an ticket for an adjustment. The numbers/banners niver got fixed.
Now I'm wondering if it counts if the pro bundle was part of another bundle? Because my banner says I only one Michael Pro bundle, but I have two. I just got the Michael 4 one in the M4 Hero Pro Pack. Hopefully the discount will be adjusted accordingly. I don't get paid till week's end anyhow. I have time to decide weather to commit or not.
I think they may only be counting the Genesis line - and not the V4/M4 line.

Good point, I never considered that. May only be the Genesis line, so that's why Daz says I own 3 Pro bundles when I actually own 4, but the 4th is the M4 Pro bundle. Makes sense now, if what you say happens to be the case.
That does actually make sense.
Yeah, it's only the Genesis line. Genesis was the great schism, and while they'll make a stab at making it possible to keep using the content built for an unweightmapped figure, they aren't going to extend loyalty discounts for weighmapped ones that far back.
I think the M4 reference is because of an autofit clone or something to justify the "most backwards cmpatible" claim.
