V8 risks being shot in the heart!

First it was the Andromeda Sci-Fi Outfit, which looked like a well done survival outfit - save for that the poor lass had a hole right over her heart! What??Hello all bad guys - aim your gun there and she'd be dead dead dead! Not to mention what happens when the pressure falls! Too bad on an otherwise nice outfits.
And now it's the Mace Assassin suffering from the same problem.
OK I can fix it with some second skin/geoshell work, but it's annoying!

Just wait.
Yeah I don't need two outfits with the same top.
It's selling well so what can I say !
It looks great that's why! I prefer yours to the one in the pro pack. Yours is rippin'. I just.... well... The top looks kind of similar.
I can't wait! Just dying to see what you came up with.
Hey, at least the hole is over her heart. It'll be a quicker death than the many stab-shoot-here belly panels I've seen...
A big thank you !. I know you can't please all the people all the time, you just have to get somewhere in between and hope for the best !
Angel and Demon armor are both in my wishlist.
I've been avoiding the G3 series, so I've been avoiding purchasing stuff for it. I just got V7 Pro for free, though, so... >_>
For me the Mace outfit is the best peice of clothing for V8. Nothing else comes close in regards to included options and extras like the weapon and poses!
yeah you are making me all jealous with talk of the midnight stories outfit... I'm thinking of ways to justify it to myself. =-)
Well, I like the Mace outfit. Though decision as I've already got Andromeda and also recently DeadBlade. But the combination with the guns and poses plus its versatility might win me over. Regarding the window above the heart - which has to be there to distract opponents - maybe it's made another mat zone next time so everybody's fine ;-)
See it's a tough one! the ones that show more skin sell way higher then fully covered ones. In a way it's actually you guys that determine which was I go. I also have no idea if adding the extra weapons and poses sway people to buy it or is it the design of the outfit. With my next outfit I'm actually give the poses to someone else to do a poses set, but still will do some poses for it. I'm also doing shader sets so you can mix and match. So it's all a big experiment till I find thew right combination !
This is the next one I know some will hate the extra skin showing some like it to show more, again I can only make a judgment from the sales number.
How about just giving all this bare flesh a cover which can be switched off in parts for all those who want skimp wear?
I could just do some shaders to cover the skin something like this could be done for mace assassin to.
I use chain mail shaders from Fantasy Leathers for just such, I say, just such an emergency. (You have to use the ones with no transparency).
@Midnight_stories : That I like much better :-)
Well easy fix then I'll put some in, for you guys !
Cheers
Please do; I can't speak for anyone else, but for me it moves them from the "maybe buy later" to the "buy now" column.

Ummm, are you a Wizzard or just a Magician? How'd you do that please?
I bought the set. I have no regrets either. :-) I Love all your stuff. I love the new texture you made there. So cool looking.
With the body suit, it is so stunning!
Matching shaders with skimpwear would be a perfect compromise. And the outfits might get used for more than just one render.
So might the shaders for that matter.
WOOOOOOOOOOW! THAT is AWESOME! I LOVE the all black look. I think YOUR scifi outfits are some of the best out there personally. I just wish that when you did sets with guns you included holsters and when you did sets with swords you included scabbards and so on. Then they would seem more complete.
It's just applying the suit material to the G8F skin !
I may take some more time and do it proper with and without studs on the legs and arms. Something you can use with other outfits !
Wow! Very nice! YES please! :D
So, I generally react along the same lines as the OP here, when it comes to armor type sets that have the cutouts. In the pro pack in particular, the combination of a helmet (which a lot of sci-fi sets don't have!) and cutouts seemed an unusual design choice. That along with other items in the set had me more off the fence than on about the pro packs.
Using matching material settings works well for arms and legs, though it is appreciated when they are included in the product pack itself, like in Midnight_Stories' images in this thread, so thanks for that! Seeing both options in the promo does help make me to notice the product, personally. But in cases like Mace (I already thought I could use it in a more fantasy, 60s spy thriller type setting anyway, and I liked the look of the wrinkles which sold me on it in the first place), because of the surface areas, it takes a bit more work with maps and/or geoshells to do the same for torso cutouts on outfits where the neck is visible, and more work on getting a covering over the breasts, instead of following the skin exactly.
However, with the mega wardrobe being released with a nice small tshirt included, the space is easily filled and a texture change to match (or contrast) with the outfit solves the problem.
All of which is a long way to say, despite my initial reaction to the styles that I know sell well, the products are appreciated (as mentioned above, the look of the wrinkles in particular set this apart for me, on top of that you had weapons, poses, and several texture options), and I'm glad I can easily get something adjusted to match what I am picturing. A tiny bit more effort, I could get something closer to a texture like carbon fiber or similar, but this was a quickie and a small part of the image, so suits my purposes.
