Here's an update, I'm trying a new thing for the first time! and that's putting all the UVs in the one space render out the maps at 8K and just use UV tile and UV offset to place them in the right position, seems to be working so far can't see any seams. The texture scale could go down to match the outfit, I did put some line down the side of the legs and under the arm, to give it a clothing seam, might need a seam on the top of the arms to. But it's coming alone.
This now looks more versatile indeed!
Thank you for investing time to find solutions to fit different needs.

Really nice to see how a really useful set evolves.
WOW! That's awesome looking. I'd buy it.
The only drawback is the material zones a geoshell might work but for now this will have to do I'm running out of time as I'm in the process of moving house !
The extra's absolutely will sway me if I am waffling. And even more when I am definitely buying. And the fact that its always well made certainly doesn't hurt. And I buy both, items that cover everything and are more realistic and items that are straight up iconic fantasy warrior gear that may just be mostly strin and bits of cloth.
Yes Geoshell looks more useable but it does slow things down !
Greetings,
I had the previous Mace Assassin for G3F in my wishlist, so I jumped on the G8F version. I'm still waffling on whether to get the G3F too; the main advantage would be that a teen or tween bada$$ assassin could probably use it. :)
Still, I think it's awesome, and I've got stuff to cover chest windows myself, if I want them covered...

I have the G3 version of the Mace Assassin outfit and it fits awesomely to G2f and looks amazing. It has some great material zones but the G8 version looks like it might have a few more than the G3 version.
The zones and UVs on the G8F suit are the same but the shoes I went up an extra Sud Division level to get a smoother look. So the mats and wrinkles preset on suit will work on the G3F version, but I haven't tried going from G8F to G3F clothing not sure if you can get the shoes on?
Awesome! That just persuaded me to get both. Now all I need is someone to make a texture pack that works on both. Since they share UVs for the bigger part, that should be possible.
As for the fanservice/showing skin debate: I actually *like* stuff like that, and care more for consistent style than for "realistic design". Nothing wrong with sexy renders, that's what most people use DS and Poser for anyway. The only real shortcoming on the Mace Assassin outfit is, that it doesn't have heels. I'd actually love to see more heels on sci-fi suits in general.
Maybe some modeller can sometime come up with a "generic morphing high heel addon", which would basically be an object worn on the feet, looking like the heel of a shoe but actually being a seperate object. Add morphs to fit it to the foot-/shoesole, ideally some more morphs to transform between stiletto's, wedges, platforms (even if I hate these, but options are good!) and heel-less heel designs, and it could turn any flat-foot bodysuit into a heeled design.
I definitely like the full coverage better :).
I love your suits. I take every opportunity to use the space suits, even if it's not a space scene. My favorite tho, is probably the virtual reality suit :D
