Now I have to show you how the people at GamePrint secure the figures inside of all that foam.

    and now

    *drum roll*

the figures together on their base

They are great - these images do NOT show the real beauty of the paintjob the GamePrint people did.

The cam on my mobile ( and my photographic skills) are unable to to show the real beauty of this work.

I just love the detail they are able to print and they build in magnets that secure the figures on the base and together.

I think they look better as printouts then as the 3D models you rendered.

I am sure I saw a base and two figures in your photos - how the hell did you fit them together?!?

Levity aside - don't they look stunning!

  • Wow! Thanks for sharing all your pics HoMart. That packaging is really impressive. Gorgeous models. Congrats on having such a fine treasure in your possesion and excellent job to the GamePrint team.

here you see, that GamePrint separated them at the shoulder of the kneeling one and build in a magnet to keep them together.

There are also magnets in the base and the knee/butt to secure them on the base.

  • Phenomenal Work.

I now have zero excuse to make customized presents for people. I have no reason to wonder what they might want, cause everyone I know has wanted some art from me at some point, now I can just make them one of a kind figurines.

Thank you for sharing the WIPs, Will definitely be making some of my own :)

Ahhh, I did recal mention of magnets but had though that was just the vase.  I had assumed that tehy had done a split to enable them to be fitted.

  • ... Well, that settles it.

Im totally getting one of these, because hokey smokes that looks REALLY impressive.

Wow, looks amazing!!! Will have to check it out in the future. Wish it was't so expensive, they would make great Christmas gifts! (If that is allowed.)

Question: I forgot if you are allowed to resell them or give them away (especially if you create your own characters.) Although the price would probably be prohibitive. What about using one or more as incentive gifts for Patreon? Is that allowed, or are you not allowed to sell them or give them away?

Also, are you allowed to create and either (privately) sell or give away 3D prints of licensed characters from comic books? Stan Lee has his own Comic-Con in LA and is totally fine with fan art being sold...

If the items were bought in DAZ store:

Selling = commercial use = not allowed, no matter if it's fan art or not.

giving as private gifts, like, for your friends, is non commercial so that should be okay.

Not sure about the Patreon thing, you'd best check it out with customer service.

What you created yourself, mesh-wise&textured, you can sell to your heart's content, though. smiley

Um... no, re-read the license. The EULA states: "The creation of three-dimensional physical representations (3D-print, molded copy, CNC-routed copy, and the like) of Content or any three-dimensional art derived from the Content is permitted only for personal, non-commercial use by the User. Additionally, the user may not grant other entities or individuals the right to produce such physical representations of the Content except for the sole purpose of providing the print to the User for their personal use.

Some Content offers User the ability to purchase an add-on license for Commercial 3D Printing. The additional rights granted to User for a specific piece of Content due to the purchase of such an add-on license is outlined in the 5.0 Addendum to this Agreement."

Chohole, is there already some content somewhere in the store with this "add-on license for Commercial 3D Printing" ?

I was not able to find any - used store search.

Or do we have to open a sales ticket to get the info needed?

Well, that brings the probablity to 0% that I would ever order any 3d prints, with an absurd EULA like that.

I've send in a ticket to customer support to clarify if gifting the print to your friend is okay.

If that's not covered, I'm not going to order a print that I've been working to set up all week. It's supposed to be a present for a really good friend of mine.

@HoMart they haven't put up any commercial print license in the shop so far, so you can't buy one yet.

Okay... here's the answer from customer service ( request (#256665):

A gift is personal, not commercial.
Commercial means you are going to sell it. This is prohibited by the current EULA.

So, it's okay to make it a b-day present or wedding day present... (Note: That was really a fast answer by CS. smiley)

Thats how I was translating "only for personal, non-commercial use by the User"

And its good to have that confirmed - with christmas so close. wink

Well, there is some refreshing common sense.

That’s  good news. Not allowing gifts would’ve been pretty unenforceable unless limitations on quantity were put in place.

That doesn’t prevent though the person you give this item to from eventually selling it though. It may eventually have to be faced that some of these figures when they change hands could be sold. They are collectors items and quite valuable

Hello and thanks, Serene Night for answering on our behalf.

Yes, gifting is okay and does not violate any of the Terms of use.

We actually encourage it and if you would like your GamePrint figure shipped to a specific address we can facilitate for that for you.

...very impressive.  Lovely detail (expanded images to full size).  I really like the care they take with the packaging.

OK, need to get some kind of small windfall so I can have figures of both my little troublemaker Leela and my namesake made.

    Maybe Leela and her girlfriend.
