How Do I Put Clothes on a G8 With anatomical elements?

So I bot Owen 8 pro bundle. I wanted to put a penis on Owen and put him in underwear. I used smart content with Owen checked so I would only get clothes made for him. Put the default underwear on, and penis wasn't covered at all. I tried using parameters to change underwear with no luck. I tried several pair of pants with the same result. In the end I just removed the penis (poor Owen). Is there a trick or special clothes or something?

As I understand it, most clothing is modeled without the genitals attached. There should be a "bulge" morph in the hip to simulate a penis under the clothes.
Otherwise, you can try using dFormers to pull the clothing around the penis.
Generally the clothes will shape soft tissue, so you might do better posing the penis to fit the bluge (if there is one) than vice versa. But unless the clothing is semi-transparent (and the render therefore no suitable for the forum or gallery) why are you trying to clothe with the anatomical elements present?
I've not tried it, but a smoothing modifier might work. You might have to export your posed Owen and his gens as an OBJ and then bring that combined mesh back into Daz in order to set collisions to avoid his body and gens.
Unless you really need it there, turn it off. Or as others have said, change the positioning and use the smoothing modifer. You don't need to export as OBJ as it will smooth over geografts for the most part. The more rextreme the harder its going to be. Adding more smoothing can sometimes help buth othertimes it causes some ugly results.
there are bulge morphs available, you don't even need the geograft for that.
I have a product that reverse projects morphs into clothes from the body to fit around gens, but it only went up to G3 (haven't done a G8 one yet). It's at Renderosity and it's called Pants Masculinizer (not allowed to link from here). It's not that it wasn't to Daz quality, it's that they weren't down with all the crotch bulge promos necessary to promoting it, lol.
Pshhhhhhhh but superwedgies and boob bulges are ok, you should sue them for sexism :P Free the male bulges!
To get it to work you need to move the gens in a bit so they are close to the body almost pushed in a bit and set the pants to smooth the area. I’ve only had luck doing it a few times as it’s pretty tricky procedure and some poses and clothing don’t work are and of course element size is also a factor.
Wouldn't that be something to work with dforce?
Well, maybe he is doing that render for some other reason, than to put it in this forum or DAZ's gallery? There are places, I've heard, where such renders can be put in galleries... He might even use them in a NSFW part of a website he owns, mayhaps?
Nonetheless I think the right place to ask about the "how to do" is this forum, isn't it?
Because clothes shaped around anatomical elements look a whole heck of a lot more convincing.
Most clothes start with a smoothing/collision modifier. If not, add one. Tuck the gens close to the body, possibly even penetrating, so they look a bit flattened. Add a dformer, move the base right around the center of the gens, and scale the field to encompass the area that would be stretched out by the gens. Then move the dformer out and slightly down, one tiny step at a time. You will see the smoothing modifier act to help form the clothing around the gens. I often find a good fit involves scaling the dformer a bit larger on the x-axis to widen the clothing around the gens, but this is not always necessary.
Ideally what you want to wind up with is a custom made bulge that fits just closely enough to the gens that the smoothing modifier takes over and does the rest of the work for you.
I have gens under the clothes in this render which is completely SFW: http://fav.me/dbyan7y
It's just about being convincing.
Personally there are reasons you would want to do this. The bulge morphs show no definition and actually sort of look odd in some outfits where the elements wouldn’t be all weird and round and smooth,
I’m actually surprised there aren’t more morphs sold here to fix that area. There are a million for breasts morphs which do just about everything)g. but only a couple of vendors who make bulge morphs.
i hope someday male figures can wear clothing with their elements attached.
I wasn't suggesting otherwise.
I think Butch frequently uses elements in his renders. They tend to look more real in the elements area than the typical bulge morph. When wearing swim wear.
Don’t feel bad. One of my thread titles had the word genitals removed and replaced with the anatomical elements
The smoothing/collision I believe will not work properly depending on where the bones of the rig are, correct? I know I have had the mesh still break with other items in more extreme poses or things like someone leaning their arms against a table. So that may be why it isn't following as expected depending on where you position the genitals in the first place. Basically you need to pose them yourself into where the clothing would move them, then use collision or dformers. Honestly dformers may be easier once you ahve the genitals in place as a guideline for how to adjust the mesh.
Or Sickleyeild's product. Which also has dress up morphs, and looks like it would save me time and wish I had seen it before.
You do need to push them in a fair amount to get the technique to work
At least we aren't all talking about toast any more.
You mean something like this?
See he’s the pro at that. I’m afraid my pathetic attempts were too poorly done to look as nice as his.
"pathetic" or "prosthetic"?
Scary and pathetic but not prosthetic! I got it to work and look good once. I don’t have the knack for moving parts around so they stay under the bikini. Someone needs to make some gen poses and decentbikinis that collide down there.
Rofl.
You gotta move the bikini with a dformer.
So, what do we need to do to get a Butch tutorial?
really? I must try that lol
Yup. Works amazing.
