    Mmm pirahna plants :O

I miss the early Mario games. They were [frustrating] very fun. Sure, some of the newer Mario games were okay (Sunshine was interesting) but most were MEH or BLEH or WTF?
Mario "galaxy" was a mix of the latter two :P

Ofc, I loved the mario party games :3

Complaints: IRS trouble. They apparently decided that a bunch of my deductions due to spousal support then my agency sent ut a warning that the IRS was gong to take a lot of y paycheck, and my ex-landlady appears to have thrown it away and not told me. So I get to spend all morning (or longer) squabbling with the IRS at their office down the road! :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

They're taking so much there's not enough left for next weeks rent, so if they don't let me have more, there are going to be serious and unfortunate repercussions. Feh.

    I can't catch a break, I swear.

...ugh, they are no fun to deal with (the IRS) because they don't care what kind of hardship it places on your life. Surprising they don't go around kneecapping people.

Had to deal with them 15 years ago because of my unemployment payments several years earlier as well as a screw up by my company's then HR manager on my deduction status. During the UC orientation session (which back then was done as a group rather than individual affair) the state employment officer never said a word that one had to pay taxes on UC benefits (this was the first time I ever filed for them). Now they do tell you up front and even give you an option to have a portion of each benefit payment set aside for tax purposes (still don't understand this, a tax on a benefit that is paid for by...a tax, sounds rather entropic).

Ended up owing back taxes because of both incidents that was deducted from my paycheques for the next two and a half years.

Unfortunately where the IRS is concerned, the burden is always dumped on the the one initially screwed rather than the one who actually screwed up.

Yeah, well, it was a fun 4 hours at the IRS office today (2 of 'em standing in line), and while there's a path out of the woods, it ain't over yet. :-S

It's mainly bad timing - the IRS is *closed* tomorrow due to the sequestration follies, and Monday is a holiday, so I could still easily end up without rent on Thursday because I can't get the forms in before they grab a huge slice of my next check.

I have all the info I need to get a temp hold while I get proof of my support payments, but it might not go into effect soon enough. Feh.

Oh, and yes - apparently my ex-wife, after moving to Germany, stopped filing taxes so the IRS has no proof I made any support payments after 2004! :ahhh: Damn, and she dropped out of sight in 2010, right after my payments ended. Looks like she took the money and ran off with it... :-S

    Oh noes

It's going to be dicey but there's a potential path clear of this mess. It's the timing that's the issue right now.

    Oh well... *le sigh*

Ok, woods cleared for now! :)

45 minutes on the phone with some magic IRS person who could Make Stuff Happen(tm) and I get to keep most of my paycheck for 30 days, which is enough time to fill out the paperwork and supporting docs to make a payment plan, which then gives me a LOT more time to get the cancelled checks (5 years worth) to prove support payments, at which time I finally get back ALL my money. :blank: :blank:

For giggles, I tried emailing my ex-wife AND her boyfriend at the time - both emails bounced with "account closed". :-S I talked to on of her friends last year who said nobody had heard from her for ages. I guess she's off partying on the tax-free money she ended up with. :blank:

I'm pretty angry right now. Grrrr! >:(

Edit: nevermind, I finally found out that the government repaired the IRS building in 2011. ok, I gotta finish my drawings and upload them to Deviant Art.

I wondered what happened to the IRS building in Austin Texas (near U.S. Route 183) after the 2010 attack. What happened to the
building. Did the government fix the building? I can't find any info about any rebuilding project. Just wondering.

Oh Wooly I feel so sorry for you. Some women can really make life a PITA for their ex. It's such a shame that more people can't manage a reasonably amicable split like I did with my first ex. We drew up a settlement plan that suited both of us, without beggaring him, and both stuck with it. I was working, so didn't ask for any money for me, just to help support the boys, and a share of the house profit, when he did get round to selling it, as I had left him and filed for divorce, set myself up in rented place which I could afford.

    morninnng

does the first bird chirpie in the morning wake up all he other birds? and all the replies are variations of "hey we're trying to sleep here" "you woke the babies and i'm fresh out of worms"

I think the first bird would be the "early bird", and probably doesn't chirp until he/she has already gotten breakfast. The first chirp probably says, "Haha, I got the best food while you were still sleeping!" :-P

I was working at Netlogic Micro that year, in the building net door. Our building shook and we got evacuated. :ahhh: :ahhh:

I about wet my pants when we found out what happened - we ALL got questioned by the police.

Last I saw they were rebuilding it, I suspect they're done by now. :-S

It can be bad, thankfully the weird stuff is the exception rather than the rule.

I do feel like I'm on some crime drama show, though. :blank:

...ahh , Just saw that I have to buy 20$ worth of DOs to get the discount. The only DO stuff I have in my cart are PC items like Lisa's plants and Jack's Aslan 2 which one cannot use coupons for purchasing.

Guess I could get D5 for 15$ though D3 works pretty well for me with Genesis.
