Bunyip, Thanks.
thinkin i could learn some file syntax by studying the centaur 7 presets. mebbe
assuming the Horse 2 was triax weighted and they pointed to body parts.
unless they created a whole new horse body dsf
workin on a freebie preset for this dude https://www.daz3d.com/krampus-original-figure
hopefully before christmas.
there's something in his finger formulaes won't let him load in carrara.
i removed them from the dsf to test and it loaded.
trickie to skip parts of the dsf file.
helen keller social services say they can help me with magnifiers to help me read my monitor.
see how that goes
ooo baby babeh iz a wide world
Interesting figure. Do you know if the fur is fibernesh or LAMH? Was thinking don't need the preset fur, could use Carrara dynamic hair.
Best of luck with the magnifiers!
it's mesh. converted to blended mesh seems to work ok so far. and the chains.
posted a few renders last year, if can find again doh
Sorry to hear of the health problems, TangoAlpha and Mistara.
@ Mistara, my own health and particularly my eyesight were ruined overnight a few years ago due to a viral infection. Apparently my body's defence mechanisms attacked the body instead of the winter bug which had been slow to clear up. Finding myself housebound for a time I also could only read or use a computer with one eye covered and my face up close. (The eye problem was severe double-vision but my balance and everything else was affected as though I had had a stroke and I felt very very ill). The positive outcome was that I eventually passed my time learning to model in Hexagon, which I couldn't do before. Recovery has taken years (from the blow to my health, not Hexagon!) but the body wants to get well, so I would wish all the very best to you and hope you can stay positive.
thanks. feel better.
Her's something I stumbled over yesterday - completely off-topic but I hope it gives you a laugh!

Ohhh Noooo! - I just took another look at the link and there is a lot of eyesight-related gadgets. It was the sea-monkeys at the top I thought you'd like!
Please, no offence intended.
is okay. i haz ad blocking
Relief! Thanks for your understanding and witty reply!
Just managed to walk about 3/4 mile to the co-op and back. Bought a newspaper. Small achievement, but I'm pleased. Now I need a sit down!
Glad to see you getting out and about a bit anyway
Great news. Keep it up. Get well.
asked the customer support a question about syntax.
lik, how to pull in geometry without grabbing the rigid groups
would be nicer if rigid group worked without throwung nilpointers
mebbe if i totally remove the bones from those 3 toelets and create brand new ones.
need to see if removing bones like that would destroy the weightmaps.
n/m sounds like wm would be destroyed.
