Well, all right .... Cararra's landscape generator is good, and not mediocre, but you have to remember that both Bryce and Vue are specialized for landscape and clouds/atmosphere generation.

But, I have seen crappy landscapes rendered with the very expensive Vue, and crappier landscapes rendered with Bryce, and I have seen some Carrara landscapes that come very close to the best of Vue and Bryce.

So, as was said, it depends on the skill, imagination, and dedication of the artist.

Alot of people are ill out there, so let's hope medical technology advances quick enough in the next few years to help them recover. I worked briefly online as an artist for a medical nanotech engineer who made technical designs for miniature robots that can repair any problem the human body may have.  Doctor Robert Freitas.

Meanwhile I suggest taking lots of vitamins and minerals. They have helped me look ten years younger and to stay reasonably healthy although of course they are not a magic cure.  God Bless.

I have attached a test freebie global shader ZIP that is intended for Misty's G3M character.  In order for it to work, you need to have the maps for Michael 7.  I have no idea if the browser saves enough information for this to work for someone else.  Can someone test?

Same issue.  The attached is for Misty's G3F character.  In order for it to work, you need to have the maps for Victoria 7.

Never realised before but my G3M starter essentials doesn't come with any M7 maps...

only found out by testing the file... unless I'm missing something

    - if someone does not have the M7 and V7 maps, the respective shader won’t load, as per Stezzas report above.  Thank you, Stezza.

    - has anyone successfully applied the freebie global G3 shaders if they DO own M7 and V7?

would like to know if this worked.

  • MistaraMistara Posts: 38,675

the shader part should works okay, we'd just need to manually load the texture maps

shader won't care which uv set is applied.

This should work like Ringo's presets (I hope).  If someone owns the maps, they should just have to point to the directory with the maps once, then going forward it should load a Carrara-tized preset with one click forever after.  To the extent that it is useful, it should have subsurface scattering settings, bump maps and bump intensity set, etc. that a person normally has to do themselves.  Doesn't seem like there is much of a current demand, I admit.

dont know how they did it, they somehow found a way to cover the eylea injections.
one doese is 2k(usa$) per eye per month.

crying thinkin of all the cores that would buy.  lol

it's supposed to help improve my vision.  had my first injections, so far so good.
too soon to "see" an improvement, but i noticed my eyes dont ache as much. laugh
