Lars Shall Not Be Contained! (Lars' Render Thread *pinup art warning*)
I can't be contained! I'm going to spam this thread with my Daz studio/Octane renders (some are lux, some are 3DL, but a lot of Octane). I hope fellow artists enjoy. And if not, please be kind and visit another thread. Thank you kindly.
I shall post the stuff that I don't have a mature flag on my dA account here. You can visit my dA page if you want to see more. This stuff will not violate the TOS, but I can't guarantee it will stay because, well some peoples opinion of art varies.
If something happens to disappear I won't repost it, but every render I have ever posted on this site has been of a woman at least wearing as much clothing as V6 in her string bikini. My women have more weight to them, and more skin color, but other than that I don't know what is different than what you see in the store.
My purpose is not, and has never been to violate the TOS. I think rules make sense. However I don't always understand WHY things go the way they do and I can't fear the repercussions of censorship.
I am and always well be pro art and anti censorship, even if I believe in rules, and that all things have a time and a place. I think this forum should be a place for art, even pinup art.
I personally find pinup art enjoyable. Even if others hate it.

More Stuff
I've been on all night and enjoying your posts :) Sorry they are going POOF.
I appreciate it, thank you. I'm just upset because I was trying to support the cause, and apparently that wasn't allowed.
Love all of those.
Thank you. More skin coming. But they will have all the "goods" covered, just like all my renders here have been. They may be bikini's, but nothing revolutionary. I put a warning in the title, I hope that suffices.
This stuff is a bit older, but still of some value to me.
All of them are gorgeous.
I hope they don't get removed I can't see anything against the TOS in them but that seems from my experience to be fluid in its interpretation.
Everyone else post renders, so I might as well too. Here are some more oldies. Some of these were famous flops for me though...Alas I have fond memories of them.
Can you guess which one uses BishyT's Visual Style shaders LOL
EDIT: I do hope the stylized toon render of Robin Hood (i call her robin hood, red riding to others) is ok. It's not graphic at all. Well, it's inspired by graphic design, but you get my point :)
Thank you very much. I don't intentionally cause a disturbance, but at the same time I don't want to cower from invisible forces. Transparency would be nice. I would like to have discussions like humans. But I can't, so I have to guess. I share my love of Daz content and the Daz Studio software regularly, and the past few days I have been fielding questions on dA about V6 and what people should do. I've steered some people into her, and in the past I have steered people into other Daz products.
Everyone else here shares there love and hate, and I just want to share love right now. I hope people can appreciate that. I see thread after thread bashing "skanks" and "skimpwear" and this is my statement that I hate the term "skank" it's offensive. And it's perfectly normal to love skin. We are humans and should enjoy our nature.
Not all are into pinups, that's fine. But people don't have to bash it. I don't bash what other folks do with their art, they do it because they want to. Probably because they find it interesting and fun. Perhaps even for deeper purposes. I just hope other people realize that is the same for others, even if they don't focus on the same ideas.
Below are into the night # 2 and 3. Older lux renders.
I have to agree about the skimpware bashing, I also dislike the derogatory terms used. I find it peculiar that what is advertised in the store is not allowed in the forums.
I also hate the fact that I spend ages on getting the skin to look how I want it to look just to have to cover it up.
few more renders
Lars if you click the Freebie Challenge link in my sig bar you will see that we run a Summer Fun and Pinups Contest in the freepository, if you can manage to produce a pinup according to our rules there about using freebies, etc.
Lars those are all so amazing each in its unique way.
Still I love the overall style!!!

Seems you have been really busy rendering! ^_^
Thank you kindly, I appreciate it. I try to change up styles every so often. I love rendering and sharing my images with folks and I try to do so in a manner appropriate for each community.
Here's a really old one of Dottie.
I wanted to let you know that you're one of my inspirations when it comes to 3D art. I love the mix of realism and toons with the bright vibrant colours that blend in well with the rest of the composition. I've seen your other ones on dA too, those are great.
For no english that was well said. Thank you for the feedback. Glad to here someone likes my strange mix of elements, feels natural to me but I know some folks are confused by it.

Love that face.
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/24304/#358753 This post, the one with the purple wings and fantasy background, is my favorite. I'm not too much into pinups, but I like the creativity and boldness- really makes a statement. I'm so happy you are doing what you want to do. The colors are so dynamic, yet you show such an ability with the soft renders too. I love that purple winged gal and the background is awesome! Was that done with any of Ron's brushes? I have them but haven't tried them yet. (If you don't mind my asking.)
Cathie
Thanks Cathie, I love colorful art myself. I wish I could master using less colors as well, but I think my mind is rigged to want things to be vibrant. I do use a lot of rons brushes, they are the best. But the piece you ask about was probably NOT rons brushes. Back then I only had one or two of his sets and was using freebie brushes.
After i got more of his sets I stopped using freebies most of the time.
Here is one I've been working on over the weekend. Vickie 6 and dial spun face and body. For this figure I am not using any Genesis1 morphs, just what I have for Genesis2. This is using Chablis skin for V4. I am happy with the definition in her knees and abs, I think that came out well.
I know her waist is a bit exaggeratedly thin, but I tend to do stuff like that :)
I'm not a fan of the halfnaked bigbusted girly Vicky (or whatever figure) renders...
but your renders are very well done. great poses, wonderful lighting... they kind of vibrate
and I just love the body of that last one... wish i could sport a body like that (without exercising of course :D )
Those are really impressive Morrigan renders on the first page. Did you piece her outfit together from many different outfits and make your own suit texture?
Thanks! I actually purchased the cosplay outfit from renderosity. The name is ASC 08: Succubus. Not sure if we can even link to it anymore, but if you go there and search it will be first up. I stumbled upon it a while back and just had to grab it. I tweaked the materials, but I did use the textures that came with the set.
EDIT: Heres the link http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/asc-08-succubus/88783/
No problem's adding a link when it is in answer to a specific query, as this one is.
It is only unsolicited commercial links or links that are deemed to be deliberately promoting other sites that are removed
Thanks for clarifying. Post updated
Two thumbs way, way up =) Your renders are beautiful and it's great to see well composed, beautifully lit renders of curvy women <3</p>
Glad I found this thread because I didn't know you were on dA. Watching you there now and this thread and I'm sorry some of your posts were removed =((
@banditcameraman Thanks, glad you like! I appreciate the watch on dA :) I guess I'll update my sig to say I'm on dA, guess that won't hurt to bad...
Very much and that would be a huge help :D I've seen your posts often enough for your name to be familiar but until this thread didn't know you were on dA or what your render métier was =)

Yeah I never really mention my dA account because I was worried about crossing the streams and something diabolical would happen. But now that I've shared more renders I might as well let it all hang out (just an expression).
