Ok. I uninstalled and re-installed everything - for the fourth time, btw - and now it seems to work. I really do not understand why, as I did nothing different than the previous times, but I don't want to complain.
Thanks for your help, advices and everything.
    :o)

I too cannot get the content database to work. I bought a new laptop and installed DAZ Studio. Smart content showed up when I first launched DAZ studio and hasn't been seen since. I've uninstalled the content database, re-installed it, deleted content database folder, re-installed again,. went inside DAZ studio and tried resetting the database, re-importing the metadata, and processing the metadata queue. No smart content. I have Studio on two computers and it doesn't work on either of them. I miss Finder. Now there was a product that worked! I will continue to search for answers. Someone must know how to get this Smart Content to function.

I'm glad I don't have these issues. I immediately uninstall CMS after installing studio; the one time I didn't my comp was useless till I finally managed to uninstall it.

None the less I think if uninstalling Studio actually uninstalled studio people would have far less issues. I mean I wish "clean uninstall" was an option and uninstalled everything; except the content. More often then not issues that aren't solved by a reinstall is because of all the stuff uninstalling leaves behind.

I'm not a Fan of MS adding the GHOST folders to user profiles, Many times its those Copies you do not know of that are causeing you all the trouble. Your Database errors, delete it Ha! still got a Copy with error in the Ghost folder and It gets read.
