horo, dan whiteside,ed3d, drachenlords, hansmar, yellowpen, adbc, mermaid020,
@dan whiteside... A Garden Secret is great.. I do think that pot plant could use some water though...it's good always having a bong handy
@hansmar... Lost Garden was "lost" to me until your explanation... very cool
@yellow pen... Forgotten Place... very nice image quite moody with the thoughts of "what's in there?"
@adbc... Gate to the Secret Garden... great image... I agree with the size of the little girl and the latest one is the best one...
@mermaid010... Enter if you Dare... Fun image ... I really like the darker one the best..
@C-ram... Mainau Island is Gorgeous almost photo-realistic...
@sray... Cindy's Garden is beautiful great sky and mountain silhouette...
@henryhor... Secret Love... very nice detailed image
@horo... Indoor Garden... Very cool image... Perhaps one future day this will be like a museum...how it used to be (outside)
Here is my 3rd entry
Title: Jack's Secret Beanstalk
used...Daz's M4, Puck, Genesis8 male ,Wise Wizard, Noggins Goose, Lisa's Botanicals Beanstalk... harp and castle freebies from internet
Hey... thanks to all you guys for your comments forgot to mention that... sorry.
Horo and mermaid: followed that you had said_ Still not coming out
right_ Even tryed differnt File formats - tif and psd - didn't make
it right_ Also separate image and alpha in psd - still not right
_Thank both of you very much
Jamahoney - thank you Jay. I do indeed appreciate constructive remarks and I've looked at that Indoor Garden several times whether I want to change the arrangement of the vegetation. Stonemason's Faded Industry building is great but in the end, the focus should be the garden.
mermaid - thank you.
Hentryhor - thank you.
adbc - thank you.
Yellow Pen - thank you.
Hansmar - thank you. Yes, FOV is a bit wide and is responsible for the distortion of the pots. Having them nearer to the centre would be better but then the main garden would be more obscured. Considering the constructive feedback I got for this scene, a different camera setting may have been better.
mtnmen - thank you. Jack's Secret Beanstalk: cool idea and excellent scene.
ed3D - strange that it didn't work for you. The 2D face on which the text is, seems to be a bit far away from the box and casts shadows, as mtnmen observed.
Mtnmen-thanks , Jack’s secret beanstalk is awesome, great idea and render
Ed3D – maybe this video by David will help you: https://www.bryce-tutorials.info/bryce-tutorials/bryce-5-minute-project-put-label-jar/
Entering this as my first entry after making small subtle changes.
Enter if You Dare
@ Henryhor: Very nice medieval scene.
@ Horo: Wonderful idea and beautifully made.
@ mtnmen: nice idea and an impressive giant. Cool!
@ ed3D: Try to turn off the cast shadows on the text plans. Maybe that will do.
@ mermaid: the last version looks more brilliant.
Mermaid: brilliant render indeed
mtnmen: impressive render. Great POV.
Very exotic, Mermaid...btw, are you getting two shadow effects from the rainlings (possibly, using two radials, don't know, but if so, possibility of turning off the shadows in one).
Hahe, MtnMen...Jack: he's bean (pun and spelling intended) too much of an old rogue, and pushed his luck way too far
Ed3D...agree with Drachenlord.
Henyhor...reminds me of Hamlet: ALL, at expense of vengence, deception and eventual sadness in loss of a true love, a true friend (best film version is of the 1948 black/white version by Laurence Olivier - a classic)
Jay
@ mtnmen : thanks. A picture high above
@ mermaid10 : trippy place
@ Jamahoney & drachenlords : thanks
mtnmen : thanks.
Jack's Secret Beanstalk : original idea and very well done.
mermaid010 : more brilliant indeed, I really like it.
Thanks Drachenlords, Hanmar, Jay, Henryhor and Adbc for the nice comments.
Jay - thanks for mentioning about the gate railing's shadows. I have multiple radial lights, and most are not casting shadows. Will check again, Comment much appreciated.
mermaid - very well done scene. Just check the apparently double shadows mentioned by Jamahoney.
drachenlords - thank you.
My third entry.
Title: Flower Mounds.
The flowers are from Lisa's Botanicals, the grass is made of two Bryce trees.
Mermaid: Beautiful work.
Horo: Beauitiful Flowers, and I like the perspective.
_alright then, thanks to all you guys for your remarks
_Also, came up with another one and Finnished it_
_First Entry
Title: the Rock Garden
@ Horo : a paradise for a bee. Very convincing grass.
@ ed3D : a garden that rocks
Another entry : DO ELECTRIC DROIDS DREAM OF A SECRET GARDEN ?
Probably the last gardener.
Credits: Circleman, Nonoko, ShaaraMuse3D, Mr Sparky, Tucan, ...
Horo : Wow, colourful flowers, awesome grass, great idea to let them fade away in the distance it gives a very special effect.
ed3D : Well done, original idea.
Henryhor : Amazing image, a different interpretation of the subject.
Horo - thanks I am working on Jay's suggestion, still did not find the cause of the double shadows. Flower Mounds is awesome, absolutely beautiful. It's a pity Lisa's Botanicals are no longer available here. Anyway I was able to bag one of yours and David's product which I could "afford".
Yellow Pen - thanks
ed3D - very nice idea and render
Henryhor - I agree a very different interpretation of the theme.
Yellow Pen - thank you.
ed3D - now your Rock Garden in the semi-dome is a cool idea and well done.
Henryhor - thank you. The probably last gardener is a great idea and looking really great.
adbc - thank you.
mermaid - thank you. About the double shadows: have you checked the sun? Though - honestly, I don't think those shadows "spoil" your work.
Thanks Horo, but it's not the sun, I may not change the image because I have not found the cause of the double shadows, and now I more curious as to what is causing them.
Yeah, Mermaid, as Horo says, the work is still great-looking (the barely-visible shadows on the grass that converge to an invisible point just under the herons are like ones would expect due to some light source situated at a great distance - Sun etc.,).
I swear, Horo, I got hint of a scent coming off my computer from your flowers
Ooooh, Ed3D...anything with Top Secret on it is there to tempt us to explore further.
Nice one, Henryhor...reminds me of that wonderful animated film of Wall-E (YouTube link - 1:53), where he finds a plant on a then abandoned Earth.
Jay
Henryhor: DO ELECTRIC DROIDS DREAM OF A SECRET GARDEN ?
Very cool and thanks
Horo: Flower Mounds _ beautiful and thanks
mtnmen: Jack’s secret beanstalk _very nice and thanks
mermaid: thanks
and Enter if You Dare Is good , even with this shadows bit
adbc: thanks you kindly
Jamahoney: thanks very much
@ Jamahoney : thanks. Probably the idea came from that movie. I didn't see it, but heard of it.
Thanks to all for the nice comments.
Horo: That is a very nice view. Great POV and wonderful flowers.
ed3D: Very original interpretation of the theme; I really like it!
Henryhor: Fantastic! And indeed has something in common with Wall-E.
My second entry. Hope it (barely) fits within the rules, by covering just enough of the nude lady. Houses are freebies, trees partly from Bryce and others, one I made in NgPlant (and used before). Freebie flowers instanced. I made the fence in Bryce. Crow is a freebie too. Boy is Kids 4 and lady is Genesis. Bed is free from somewhere as well and the 'clothing of the lady '(and the kid) did not cost me anything either. Light system by Rashad Carter used (together with premade sky)
Title: A secretive look into the neighbour's garden (aka: Naughty boy!)
Sorry, We can't allow it because of the child, could you change it to an adult or maybe a Cat (aka peeping Tom)
Hansmar : thank you very much
"Sorry, We can't allow it because of the child, if it had been a peeping Tom (cat) or an adult it would have been differen"t
Weird...Chohole... does this mean that all works submitted to the Bryce Forum over the years involving child images are, say, peeping tom, paedophilic?
Jay
SECRET LOVE (the return)
Replaced the well (remembered I modelled a well loooong ago. Reworked it with Hex). Also another wall tex (textures.com)
@ Hansmar : thanks. Sorry for your pic. Can imagine the scene but hard to say something without seeing it.
Henryhor...very nice...brings back memories of Shakespeare's Hamlet in a weird sort-of-way (a false king courting a frailed, grieving queen, and of a MAN "who could not make up his mind").
Loving the architecture - it is so appropriate.
Jay
Jamahoney - thanks, yeah those flowers are quite smelly
ed3D - thank you.
Hansmar - thank you. Pity that I can't see your entry anymore.
Henryhor - better, I blink-compared the two versions. The lighting is also much better. Good job.
