If you look at the promo pics for Hongyu's Bikini for V6, two of the pics show it worn by Girl 6...

I might not use the body much (not a fan of silicon implants/balloon breast style), but I could see the face being handy for mixing with other characters.

lol good find!... G6 must really be close if she's appearing in clothing promos now
I noticed those, too. If you check the file list in the wiki documentation for the bikini, it also shows FBMs included for Girl 6.
She is much less stylized than G4 (waist/hip ratio is much closer to normal/real than G4 was, and her breasts aren't nearly as large). Her head isn't super enlarged, either. But she looks nice.
And did you notice the rookie mistake with the pose in the promo where she faces forward? :)
Aye, no lights either, prolly rushed to hit release deadline and show that product fits the newest extreme shape - best guess, pose originally done with another shape and finger collision with thigh caused when Girl6 shape applied - well, that's the story I've told myself to explain it :lol:

Thanks for sharing the info. She looks like what they did to A5. While there is nothing wrong with the execution, I don't like the direction. I think the characters they put out could be more extreme, That way if you wanted to dial them in less you could as well.
Maybe like A5 someone will make an morph pack so you can really toonify her...I skipped that pack myself. I got all the morph packs for Genesis, but didn't want to invest in an Aiko specific one.
So it seems the new practice is to kill off the toons and make them look more real. So for those of us that like the toons we can stick with Gen3/4, or their shapes for Genesis.
I've got my Girl3/4 shape for G2F and will likely pass on this one.
BTW Those renders make her look souless. Maybe better renders would win me over. Specially if the pro pack has some killer stylized outfits. A5 had some killer outfits and that's what I used most out of the pro pack.
This is making me sad. I loved A5 to death but was extremely disappointed they didn't give her a male counterpart (or Hiro a female one).
G6 looks terrible, in my opinion. But it's difficult to tell with that photoreal skin on her. The Girl generally looks bad in those. Maybe the shape will still be redeemable.
Crossing my fingers hoping for a legacy version though. Her style was from an unique work, change that and she really isn't the Girl anymore. :roll:
Yeah I liked A5 even though I didn't use her. I think that A5 worked for me cause we already had Hitomi, which had a great unique style.
Not sure how I would have felt about A5 if Hitomi didn't come out so long before her honestly.
I definitely think G6 has a market, a lot of folk thought the older versions looked too scary or goofy. Thing is you could always dial in just a bit if you wanted. For folks looking for more stylized characters the older generations are still the best bet.
Yeah, the skin of that figure is a bit weird and creepy (must be the lighting). If there's a option skin to make it more toony then It's a buy.
I too have A5 pro bundle as one of my first purchases and still use her, but I keep missing deals for Hitomi :(. I do hope that A6 is not as creepy as what we just saw on G6.
Originally, I was not a fan of Aiko or Hiro or any of those type of models, but have grown to love all generations of them. Aiko 5 is still a go-to model for me, then I bought Hitomi and absolutely love her, too. I like a mix of the two. As for The Girl, I always liked her, back to generation 3, so a G6 would be something I would like no matter what.
I would like creamy painted skin textures for characters like the Girl... not these photo-realistic skins. Hopefully we get some good looking character skins when G6 is released.

I agree. Stylized less stylized is a terrible thing for me. A toon figure isn't only big eyes.
I hope they release at least one male figure before doing another female character or at least release the gen 2 male base. I am though happy for girl fans. =)
She's actually starting to remind me of someone, but I can't quite put my finger on who...

She still looks too much like the other versions of The Girl. The Genesis Girl 4 can be transferred to Genesis 2. I would have liked a NEW look. They always change the looks of the others, so why is this character never truly updated?
I like that texture. If she comes with that, then I might consider getting her...IDK at this point though. *shrugs*
Imagine her with, say, red hair. And, well, chestier. (Which is not something I'd ever though I'd say about The Girl.)

best picture of her yet. And she looks largely different from G4. Granted there are morphs for G4 that will probably make her look similar, but stock G4 vs that render are very different.
Very much like a new figure from Daz. Will be interesting to see what else she comes with. I can say that $40 for a single figure morph ain't worth it :) That's the easy math. Costumes however could be fun.
