She looks a little alien in some of the promo renders I've seen of her but it's amazing how a bit of eyeshadow makes me go "Yup, sold." o_o I'm easily pleased.....and have no self-control.

She still looks too much like the other versions of The Girl. The Genesis Girl 4 can be transferred to Genesis 2. I would have liked a NEW look. They always change the looks of the others, so why is this character never truly updated?

Because Girl 4 was really nothing more but a corrected version of Girl 3 because Kim Goosenz wasn't thrilled with the lack of support she was getting.

In all fairness, many argue that Aiko & Hiro's 3 and 4 aren't that much different from each other. Then there were those who argured that Freak 5 wasn't that much unique from Freak 4.

The only ones that really seem to get completely new upgrades that are distinct from one another are of course the "Real World" figures, Victoria, Michael and Stephanie (and David when we get him).

She's actually starting to remind me of someone, but I can't quite put my finger on who...

Imagine her with, say, red hair. And, well, chestier. (Which is not something I'd ever though I'd say about The Girl.)
Is the fact that I'm seeing this described character in a red shimmering night dress with long purple gloves still in the ball park, by any chance? :)

Utterly apropriate, actually. Even has the historical period right.

My impression is that Girl 4 was mainly a reworking of Girl 3 as a morph rather than a separate figure. The separate figure really didn't get that much support. But once she was a morph, she got used a lot as a component for a slew of mostly V4 characters.

Shifting her to Genesis made that even more of the case.

Well, Dawn has dawned and no Girl 6. At least not today. So, I was wrong. But I've been wrong before.

Still, I just got another $5 off coupon from DAZ with her face on it, so I'm expecting her arrival to be imminent.

I want a chance to get a proper look at the promos. Both her sisters, V6 and Gia have had very nice-looking meshes from where I'm standing.

I will say that the face is more appealing in the coupon renders.

Definitely agree with you there. Guessing the coupon renders are clipped from the actual promos.
    Heh, coupon clipping...
