    Yes they are still getting worked on. No, I am not going to comment on individual bugs here, not because I don't want to, but because I have a higher Priority in getting the bugs worked as opposed to searching for bugs in the database.

    There are two ways to keep track of bugs that are important to you. One is resubmit them, and when they are fixed or if we need additional information we can contact you. The other is to watch the change log for the appropriate software, for this thread I presume it is DS, and fixed bugs generally get listed there with each release.

    the "submarine" or mouse pointer disappearing can also happen when there is an intense CPU event but I'm not sure if you're seeing this both in Studio and not in Studio so I would suggest you update your card's drivers
    First: What kind of graphics card do you have in that computer? If you don't know an easy way to find out is go to Start>Run and type "dxdiag" and go to the display tab; that's your card. You can see the date of the drivers installed and other info you don't really need.

    if you have an nvidia card go to www.nvidia.com, go to the drivers drop down and select your card, your OS, or have it auto detect.
    If you have an ATI/AMD card go to amd.com or ati.com or if it's an Intel Card it's probably internal and that might be the problem right there. There are other video card manufacturers out there so don't be surprised if you don't recognize it. I have an ASUS Nvidia card, so since Nvidia makes the chips for ASUS to use I go to NVidia's site. and if you see WHQL on the driver name it just means it was tested by Windows High Quality Labs which is a division of Microsoft, like JPL means Jet Propulsion Lab or Jack Parsons Labs who was the founder of NASA and a massive Satanist who hung out way too much with Alastair (Mr.) Crowley.
    Anyway, that's how ya do it, invoke the dark lord, update drivers, see what happens.

    Well I hope they can fix this because I'm about to move back to 2.5, although all the stuff I did in 2.6 is just as broken in 2.5 now.

    Don't have a clue about Luxus because none of the optional plug-ins are available to the default beta install, so no Luxus options showing.

    Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but Ctrl+Z does NOT work for undo.

    It's working for everything I've tried -- what exactly are you trying it on, and what OS and bit-depth?

    Does Luxus still work in the release version? I assumed the issue was that Reality wasn't working in the release after installing the beta.

    I didn't understood why it wouldn't work as I have not seen any change in the lights or anything in the SDK. But in fact I guess the problem is the way the beta is done. Before we could simply install over our Stable version and all plugins or shaders were already there.
    Now with the beta beeing made to work side by side with the Stable version, all you get with the beta is only what is included in the beta, that means DS only

    The long workaround would be to reinstall all missing plugins and whatever custom thing you could have

    Another way is simply go to your DAZ Stable version directory, then copy "Shaders", "Script" and "Plugins" directories then paste these in the new beta intallation folder. Overwrite Directories but DO NOT overwrite files when asked (I should say DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK but it's only the beta directory so no problem appart from messing the beta right?)

    This way you get back Shaders/plugins and custom script if you have any

    There is also customized settings that are lost (I have a custom UI)

    Not exactly. In fact Reality lights works as usual, but there are something happening when parsing a saved scene. The light settings as group name, active, gain, etc are not preserved if you close and reopen Reality. If you just work on materials and lights, and export to Lux all will work as usual. If you close the Reality interface and reopen it, all light settings get missed.

    HELP!!! How do I UNINSTALL this Public Beta version? I've installed it with my other version, and I only want the PB version GONE.

    As far as I am aware, it was only possible to install the Beta using the DIM, is that how you installed it?

    If so, load DIM, and uninstall it from there.

    Amended 5 minutes later: Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! That did it, thank you so much! Whew... I wasn't feeling it. I'll just wait until things are worked out. To be honest, I found that I didn't like it. The auto default camera was gone, I like it being there automatically. Still can't get CMS up and running in the Smart Content, but - I've given up on that. In any case, I'm going to wait until they up to it a firm and well working and received 4.7 ... :)

    Did the drivers get you anywhere?

    btw I had one hell of a time trying to get Crowley's tarot deck out of my house once it made it's way in. Call me Capt. Skeptical about the vast majority of OGD members but if Crowley was smoke and mirrors it was one of the greatest con jobs in history, and if not he was exactly who he claimed to be.

    by definition, a Beta can have bugs, but, apparently this Beta HAS bugs!
    waiting for the general release sooooon.

    then, can not DAZ guide more clear, How projection morph work , and how to change morph to Projection Morphs,

    I make new "Procjection Morphs" directory, under data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base

    then I change FBMmorphTest shape obj to fit better when It will be generated to the Clothing which fit to genesis,
    after that, save as FBMmorphTest_proj.dsf (use save as morph)
    and move the file in the Projection Morphs directory.

    but it seems not work. I can see, when I apply FBMmorph1 to genesis with clothing,
    FBMmorph1 not auto generated to clothing, but the Projection Morphs seems not generated too.

    I edit the dsf file ID etc,, tweak many and try again, but I can not make Projection Morph..

    How to make it? is there someone who can clear guide the usage?

    OK,, I found way. I thought I need to set ID of the dsf file should be same
    with actuall path, but do not need to change anything.

    just saved FBMmorhTest_proj.dsf as same as original FBMmorphTest ,
    then move it in the /Projection Morphs/ "vendor name"/"product name"
    as same as the FBMmorhTest.dsf it seems work.

    first pic is when I apply original FBMmorph1 to gen, FBMmorph1 auto generate to the clothings,
    but almost every clothing must break around breast. without smoothing modifier.
    (I applied nipple in my morph, so that, it must cause poke through)

    second pic is after make projeciton morph, by hexagon, then reduce around breast, and smooth nipple,
    then apply same morph. now projection morph auto-generated to the all clothing when I apply FBMmorph1 to genesis.
    it is actually useful.

    but I hope in product ver, there will be option to choose projection morph or original generated morph.

    and I do not know, if I had made overwrite morph already for the clothing, how it worki?

    This may have been covered before but there are to many paged to browse so please forgive me if this has already been answered:

    Is there a simple way to copy my custom pane settings to this Beta?

    Yep! Just copy the files from user layouts folder in the Studio stable release folder to the Studio Public Build folder.

    On a Mac the path is:
    /Users/You Username/Library/Application Support/DAZ 3D/Studio4/user layouts/
    to
    /Users/You Username/Library/Application Support/DAZ 3D/Studio4 Public Build/user layouts/

    On Windows the path is:
    /Users/Your Username/AppData/Roaming/DAZ 3D/Studio4/user layouts
    to
    /Users/You Username/AppData/RoamingDAZ 3D/Studio4 Public Build/user layouts/

    I am seeing Valentina DB errors in the DAZ studio log with the new beta on my Mac (10.7.5). It is not reliably repeatable and error entries are not really tale telling. After such an error the CMS is not working anymore. The CMS log doesn't provide any further insight.

    WARNING: /src/dzvalentinaobjectdatabase.cpp(38): DB Register Open error:

    I can work in the stable build for hours and never had the CMS shutdown at will - kind of disturbing. Not creating a bug report just yet, will see if I can somehow force this more reliably.

    I'm doubting it does, but does this version differentiate between the number row and the number pad when keybinding? I'm assuming it doesn't. Would be nice if the next version of DS could do that.

    If a particular morph already exists in an article of clothing this feature has no effect because the morph is not auto generated. This is just used when a morph is projected into the clothing.
