Has anyone recreated the whole interior of the Constitution class ship for the 60s-TV-show era?  I've seen and grabbed individual rooms, such as the bridge, the ranking crew members quarters, Christopher Pikes cabin, the transporter room, and so on, but it doesn't look like someone did the entire interior as one big set.  And the crews quarters I've seen, they've not recreated the side rooms, such as the bathroom, or made the regular crews quarters (where they have two to a room or something like that), or te other more obscure parts of the ship.

  • Not that I'm aware of. There are recreations of the sets as they were laid out at Desilu but as far as released meshes of the whole interior, not that I can recall.

I'm more wondering if there's recreations of some of the other sets as laid out in Starfleet Technical Manual, and to a greater extent in those Enterprise deckplans that came out in the 70s.  Mainly I want to see a complete version of the officers quarters with all the surrounding rooms included, such as the bathroom off to the side of the stateroom.  Right now, the stateroom I've gotten from ShareCG has a door leading off to where the restroom should be, but there's nothing behind that door.  It does open, at least.

    Hi.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell (or show) me if there is a "Mirror Spock" beard for G8M out there... Somewhere... Please?

    Even though it's for G3 I've applied to G8.  It's free.

I've never seen one out there, but you could probably piece one together with primitives or kitbashing from other portions of the stateroom and bathroom pieces from other sets or freebies.
  • Are there any Discovery Uniforms?

I think Sonequa Martin-Green is basically perfect. My attempt at recreating her in DAZ Studio is not so much perfect.

That came out great way better than mine

  • Hi!

Please forgive me, that I didn't researched every post ^^

Is there a G8M/G8F romulan/vulcan morph somewhere in the dephts of the archive?

Best wishes and thank you in advance!

Any of the good elven or vampire character pointy ear morph should work on most any G8 character to make a passable Romulin/Vulcan character.  The only issue I see is the eyebrows and there are some fibermesh eye brow products out there that could make a really good Vulcan/Romulin eye brow.

  • I worked with morphs and mech-grabber, and this is the result :-) The eyebrows are... ok at best... Perhaps I should try with a displacement map, but this wouldn't be universal, or... is there another program out there, that can do the morphing stuff that zBrush can?

Yes, it will be interesting to see somebody depict the most authentic Lt. M'Ress yet, or a Caitian in general.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

  • Taking a small break from working on the TMP version of the Forrestal. Decided to do some work on TMP Starfleet Uniforms which I will release for G8 when done

I am still working out the uniforms but I wanted to test it to see how it would look in a render. Corridor by Ashley Tinger.

It's not easy. It took me quite some time to figure out all the intricate parts involved in making (what I consider to be) a decent Vulcanoid. Also a lot of asset gathering.

    Also, hi. I'm new here.

Looks pretty darn close to me. The lips in particular are exquisite. She's instantly recognizable, at any rate.

I finally got around to rendering this old Klingon D7 K'Tinga model.  A little Photoshop, Topaz Studio and Dynamic Auto Painter and VOILA!

Thanks, everyone.  Here is another one fresh off the render presses!

This is a pretty low poly model so it took some postwork to make it fly.
Postwork in Photoshop and Topaz Studio.

[Edited to add]  I actually came up with this explanation of the image - not sure how the science plays out, but hey, this IS Science FICTION after all:

This is the visual effect akin to a sonic boom, but this is a "Photonic Bloom" caused by the Bird of Prey de-cloaking right as
    it drops out of lightspeed.
