    Warning: gonna get serious for a moment.

    I have posted before about ending my federal service and the rise of intolerance, even towards people whose Congressional jobs are non-partisan.  Here is a tribute on the Senate floor on the passing of my friend, Bud Johnson, a nonpartisan employee of the Senate.  Last week, after watching a baseball game at a restaurant one block from his house, Bud was assaulted and beaten to death over an argument.  I am heartbroken, but even moreso because I am not surprised.  broken heart

    I need to seriously pull my finger out or I will lose all my Internet in 3 weeks

    getting warnings in the letterbox every week from the National Broadband Network ADSL ending 16May

    I made a couple attempts ending up on hold ringing Optus with one hour waiting lists so gave up

    will try again to do it online maybe tomorrow or walk down to a store, it’s a PITA

    made a curve brush in Zbrush and can draw braids, Carrara and a freebie by 3Dcheapscape helped me do the mesh

    Yes it has the UV master plugin but this actually kept it’s existing UV mapping

    it was an imported redistributable obj by 3Dcheapskape on shareCG I cut up in Carrara to make a continuous interlocking mesh section

    if I ever modelled a redistributable hair I would acknowledge this, early days I might eventually learn to do braids, my spline spirals with side on  zizzag kinks won’t ever interlock as plaits

    a mixture of Carrara and DAZ studio (the wizard with dforce cloth was studio rendered)
