Not to mention that a lot of the stacking discounts aren't being applied the way that they're advertised. I've skipped all but one day of the PA sale so far because every other time I've worked out the math, I've found the numbers to be off. (Sorry DAZ, I'm not going to intentionally overpay and hope for a refund, because even when I get do a credit, I never get the difference in tax back.)
But hey, Renderosity, Xurge and Yur are all running some great sales, I've got a Rendo Prime coupon and Content Paradise is running the First Friday Bazaar. If DAZ doesn't want to get their act together and have people fixing the store on the three busiest sale days of the week, there are plenty of other places to spend my 3D dollars. Ya snooze, ya lose...
Did you start with the original price of the items?
1 item - 30% off the original price
2 items - 40% off the total of the two items' original prices
3 or more items - 50% off the total of the three or more items' original prices
There aren't any "stacking discounts" in the PA Sale as advertised, AFAIK.

Of course I did, I've been here since 2005. ;) There are two "math" problems already documented elsewhere. The first, confirmed by DAZ_Jared here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/28485/ is that the sale pricing is overriding the price of Platinum Club items so that they ring at a higher price. The second, apparently related, problem is that a large number of, but not all, Daz Originals in the stores of PAs that are on sale are only getting one of the two discounts that should be stacking, so they show in the store at 30% off instead of 51%. And, actually, there's apparently a third problem that some people have been having with the $2 and $5 coupons in conjunction with the sale, though I haven't experienced those myself.
edit: and yes, there should be stacking discounts for Platinum Club members, as confirmed by Richard Haseltine in the same thread linked above.

OK, got it. :)
The PC price ($2.99 in this case) being overridden by the sale seemed to be limited to that one product. If you've found others, please report them so that they can be fixed. There have been several items where only one discount applied, instead of both PA sale and PC, and where reported they've been fixed as far as I know - if you find more, again please report them. So far various DAZ people have been available to fix issues even on weekends so there's every chance that a reported issue will be fixed before the sale ends (and hopefully will stay fixed thereafter).
