Scooby-Doo characters?

Are there any hairstyles and outfits depicting the "meddling teens" from the older Scooby-Doo cartoons prior to the 1980s?
Also, are there any Scooby-Doo style characters for DAZ Dog?

Maybe in here. https://www.daz3d.com/izabella-7-pro-bundle

Speaking of Velma, this has an authemtic outfit, except the shoes have platform heels:

I bought it two years ago.
Shaggy & Scooby can be found via a a search on TurboSquid & bought for $15. I haven't bought them so I can't say anything about the quality.
There, at Blendswap.com, free but you must sign up, are a mediocre

You can probably use these products though to make a modernized more realistic type of Scooby & Shaggy

For the clothing and hair to suit those characters search in the DAZ Store although there is a good chance you have near likenesses to their clothing & hair styles already.
Example package for clothing (you could use the TG8 bases too instead of Cartoonized products & mix with the DAZ G8 morphs: https://www.daz3d.com/toon-generations-mega-bundle-for-genesis-8-males-and-females (for clothing & hair)
Daz dog 8 is practically ready to go (because Scooby is a Great Dane, after all), and you can kitbash the outfits together easily enough. You'll have to change colors and textures, of course, but it's fairly straightforward.
I wonder if there are any hairstyles that look resemblent of Daphne Blake that I could buy or download for free? I purchased a Daphne-like hairstyle on the Second Life Marketplace for my Second Life avatar, but the problem is, it's too long. I would like one that is shoulder length and almost true to the cartoon Daphne.
Nita hair might work, just need to figure out the head band:
https://www.daz3d.com/nita-hair-for-genesis-3-female-s
And actually, looking at the cartoon images, Daphne and Thema's hair is exactly the same around the face, the only difference is how is falls around Daphne's shoulders. So that said a better choice might be: Paige Hair for Genesis 8 & 3 Female(s)
It can be made longer, and if push comes to shove, add another longer hair. (I just found out two hair styles can be used on one char... go figure.)
Actually, it's Velma, not Thelma.
As for a hairband for Daphne, I personally think it is something that was easy to create by any user, and I wouldm't be surprised if it is offered as a freebie.
So we now have ideas for hairstyles for Daphne and Velma. The Paige hairstyle would be fitting for Velma, and Daphne's hairstyle would probably have to be morphed a certain way.
Daphne's wardrobe would be a certain type of dress, but I may be able to create new textures for that.
If only we can come up with wardrobe and hairstyles for Shaggy and Fred, that would be great. I am thinking Shaggy wears baggy pants and a loose-fitting t-shirt that goes over his waist. To find Shaggy's hairstyle, however, would be a real challenge.

I did post a comment on the link to the Daphne outfit. I hope to get a reply soon.
Worst case scenario, she is a totally groovy girl.
For those wondering about a Daphne figure, there is a newly released body morph, called Daphni, now in the DAZ Shop.
It's the morph for now. Hopefully this might be a sign of a looming dress someday.
I hope it is a success. I would like to see that vendor's take on Velma. :)
Here is the link to the Daphni morph:
https://www.daz3d.com/daphni-hd-for-genesis-3-and-8-female
On the same page, is a list of items that are shown that would go well for a 3D version of Daphne. There is even a link to a great dane for DAZ Dog 8, which would make a great Scooby-Doo.
I'm probably going to add this to my wishlist pretty soon.
Someone linked to this thread from a more recent thread (thanks Phoenix1966 for the share, someone was asking about Daphne)
Couple of suggestions for interesting starting points for Daphne's dress and scarf:
https://www.daz3d.com/super-dress-and-leggings-for-genesis-2-female-s
The material zones for the belt area and the bottom of the skirt are a bit wider than what is shown in the cartoon, but it shouldn't be difficult at all to modify the existing textures or maybe go the geometry editor route to create new texture zones with narrower bands.
The dress has 35 material zones in total, btw. so as to allow for hiding/showing different parts of the dress and such, and the 'wrist cuffs' material zone looks to be about the right size. It seems to autofit fairly well to boot on G3F (and presumably on G8F). There might be a newer dress out there that will fill the bill as well, but I've worked with this dress before and am pretty happy with it.
As for the scarf, this scarf might not be a bad choice:

Edit: Followup (reposting this from the 'Daphne' thread in Commons)
OK, here's how my suggestion for Daphne's outfit looks:
Daphne (the cartoon character) actually has some pretty stylin' shoes, it'd be cool if there was a close match for those. I 'made do' with restaurant server shoes, but there very probably are better options out there.
As for what I used:
https://www.daz3d.com/super-dress-and-leggings-for-genesis-2-female-s
I ended up using the geometry editor tool to create new material zones for the two skirt stripes. The polygon shapes were pretty much straight across in a line, so that worked pretty well. As noted before, the wrist cuffs already have their own material zone. I used some basic cloth shaders and adjusted the coloration appropriately. The dress also has some adjustment morphs to make it slightly more ruffled and wider at the bottom.
For the scarf:
https://www.daz3d.com/rockabilly-outfit-for-genesis-8-females
Edit: Other options r.e. the scarf:
https://www.daz3d.com/autumn-for-genesis-2-female-s
https://www.daz3d.com/dots-and-flowers-with-50s-scarf
Again, applied an appropriate cloth shader to the scarf, and adjusted the color accordingly. I also widened the parameters on the adjustment morphs that control the length of the ends to help it drape farther down.
As for the hair and hairband...
https://www.daz3d.com/layered-fringe-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females
I replaced the Base Color map with the Transparency map, and then applied an orange color to it, and a light yellow to the glossy color.
Hairband is an oldie... it's the Lollipop Hairband from Lollipop Hair
https://www.daz3d.com/lollipop-hair
It's a V4 item, and I scaled it up a bit and used the x/y/z parameters and a slight rotation to position it. Not perfect, but works well enough for now. You might be able to use Mesh Grabber to 'tuck' the hair underneath the hairband, or some other method so as to avoid having to 'clean up' the loose/poke thru strands in post work with the clone stamp or whatever (in photoshop, etc.).
There may be a closer hairstyle out there somewhere, I was working with what I have onhand.
As for the tights, a number of those will do. The Super Dress does come with leggings/hose/socks...
The character I used was Ruby for Girl 7, with a number of shape adjustment morphs, and Aiko 7 textures with some color adjustments and darker purple eyes, but of course there are probably a number of options out there that might be decent choices for Daphne. Mainly I just wanted to get a 'close enough' model to show off the dress.
(snip)
That idea of yours looks very close to what Daphne should look like. I may consider this idea when I have some extra money. I already do have the Lollipop Hair, so the hairband is taken care of. I do have a scarf, but it was a bigger one and it was a freebie on another site.
So all I really need is Ruby, The Girl 7, Aiko 7, the Layered Fringe hair, and the Super dress and leggings. I may already have restaurant server shoes, as I believe I have a waitress uniform in my inventory, unless it's an underestimation.
So now that we got Daphne taken care of, all we need is to find out how to do Shaggy and Fred and even Scooby.
I wasn't all that happy with my previous attempt, so I gave it another go, using FSWA Finley for Victoria 7 along with some other morph tweaking:
This looks a bit closer to the cartoon art IMHO, for the face (body is a bit wider ATM). What do you think?
I agree the face looks closer to the cartoon.
Good work :)
Finley for Victoria 7 is now added to my wishlist, considering the second attempt looks very close to that of the cartoon counterpart.
thanks for the compliments! (Edit) I've posted up a formula for my Daphne WIP here.
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/425336/scooby-daphne-outfit
Here's a front and profile render:
Regarding the hairstyle for Daphne, how did you get such vibrant red hair? The original package didn't have any such bright colored textures.
Just a note, I posted up my formula for my Daphne WIP (click link above to see the relevant post)
As for the hair, what I did was swap out the Base Color map for the 'hair + cap' Transparency Map (which is white on a black background) and then selected a suitable orange for the base color. I also assigned a light yellow to the Glossy Color. Hope this helps!
BTW, I mentioned this in the other thread, when I talked about the Layered Fringe Hair for G3F, so that people visiting that thread would have that info on hand as well, for 'complete-ness' purposes..
You know, while we're waiting on a formula for Shaggy and Scrappy, I am wondering if it is possible there could be a way to create a Scrappy-Doo using DAZ Dog 8?
There's Daz Pup for Dog 8 so shouldn't be a problem, for whomever chooses to tackle it..
In my browsing today, I came across this hairstyle. Might be a nice alternate hairstyle for Daphne for those that don't want to fuss with say my Layered Fringe Hair suggestion. It's a V4 hairstyle, but I Imagine it'd autofit easily enough: Not an exact match, but might be close enough as people do change up their hairstyles a bit.
https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/maggy-hair-and-oot-hairblending/105554
I do not see DAZ Pup anywhere in the DAZ Shop.
I may have been thinking of this one:
https://www.daz3d.com/benji-the-puppy-hd-for-daz-dog-8
I get my names crossed sometimes...
There's also the Millenium Puppy, but that product is much older...
https://www.daz3d.com/millennium-puppy-bundle
Well, there is this but it for V4 although there Riversoft has aqwoneerful convertor that would open up some possibilities. :)
https://www.deviantart.com/terrymcg/art/Daphne-costume-for-v4-and-A4-610012903
I can verify that Riversoft and Sickleyield's clothing converter does an amazing job of converting terrymcg's clothes from V4 to G8F. The cothing morphs are intact and functional. There may be issues with gloves, but that's it.
