I always have to tweak stuff instead of using it out of the box
did get a reasonable teddy with G2F and several creature creator ears
however a PBM with separate head would give the option of many creature creator headed plush toys
so if thinking of making another product ,,,,,,

I will see if I can talk Sickle into a "plushie for Genesis" product somewhere down the road. But only because you made such an awesome dancing teddy animation. What kind of textures did you use on the teddy, are they shader based with displacement or is it a hair plugin?

I have discovered a potential fix for the shader issues and am currently fixing and testing them. We will post the update to PASS as soon as it is completed. Once the update is through testing and you have downloaded and installed it you should be able to use the burlap and yarn shaders with any surface without getting the missing uv error.

needing to understand... does this mean the burlap shaders will work without needing V5 uv's?

After the update they will. We've uploaded it for testing and it should be out soon.

Oh that is great. It is in my wishlist and it is currently at the top of that list.

Not sure if you have been told in another thread or not, but the Vengeful Spirit product is also giving me an error message stating that I am missing the V5 uv maps. It does seem to be working okay otherwise.

So then this error means that I do not have the V5 uv since I do not own the v5 product. Is there any way to get the v5 uv without purchasing v5. I bought V6 and do not want to buy v5. And, I chose M5 as my powerup prize since I did not know I needed v5 uv's. What can I do?

If you have V6 you should already be able to use the V5 UV from Genesis 2. Does the product still load properly after the warning?

Oh. And did you load it from People/Genesis 2/Characters and not People/Genesis/Characters?

having internet connection issues, sorry for delay... not sure how quickly will get the connection issues resolved for now had to go to my Mother's home to get on

I just loaded G2F into the scene. Went to Genesis 2 folder and selected the base shader. I get this error msg:

Some assets needed to load the file were missing... ...could not be found

    /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/UV Sets/DAZ 3D/GenePool/Victoria 5.dsf

When I look at the surface editor, the uv set does show to be Victoria 5

Of course I get the same error with genesis, but I do see where there is a M5 choice and I do now have him. I still get the load error, but I can change the uv set to match m5.

I'm not entirely certain if the set is working correctly even after the error as I don't know completely what it should be doing. But it appears to be working after passing the error.

If it works correctly after that you should see a texture applied with a transmap. The conforming ball joints and the morphs that go with them are unaffected by the UV.

I don't know why it's doing this. I'll look into it.

My issue is with vengeful spirit, there are no ball joints that I am aware of.

Oh, sorry! I got confused and thought this was the ball joint thread. >:p It looks like you've figured it out, though. If once it's loaded you save it back to library the issue should go away. I will still try to figure out why it's happening so it can be fixed.

can someone did a quick render that shows the difference as stated here:

" The Plain Dolly character has a separate head and limb preset that can be mixed with your other morphs or used as-is for a more realistic mannequin or scarecrow. The Toon Dolly is a more rounded and toy-like character. You can fit the included button eyes to either for cuter looks, or the eye and mouth stitches for scarier characters."

The difference between the "Plain Dolly" and the "Toon Dolly", I mean. :D

Oh so that did go out? Yay!

It adds a second loader for each that allows the ball joint conformers to accept torso textures directly thanks to a new UV.
