Tested Rex 3 out with some challengers in Hell Creek

(Rex3, crystal dragon 3, and your Spinosaurus.)

Very cool. My dragon is also the next creature coming from me.

love your promos for t3 on your deviant page and the game art and book covers and looking forward to the saddle for him. Doesn't really matter since I now have him but will the saddle also fit the other rex models? And your other dinos will they get something? Your Alamo could have something like that don't what it's called but that cabin? thing that the giant elephants had wore carrying large groups of soldiers in Return Of The King. A stegosaurous would be cool as well as some flyers pterodactyls and others oh these with saddles too. And maybe some mutant dinosaurs and or Godzilla style monsters.Oh and did you hear about the feathered dinosaur tail perfectly preserved in amber

The Saddle only fits Rex 3. Yes, I totally want to do a huge platform on my Alamosaurus (defend the Alamo!) but I may revamp the Alamo before I do so. I see the platform designed after like an old sailing battleship. I want to wait and see how well the saddle does in the store first before tackling on more prjects related to it. Dinosaurs are always my favorite thing to tackle but are also the weakest perofrmers in the store (except the rex). My next creature will be a dragon (Wyvern) followed by the requested Beholder. After that maybe a new Alamo and War platform. I'm also wondering how well a Dino-Riders future-styled armored assault platform for the Rex would sell.

I do like dragons, you should see the coolection my wife has of resin dragon figures. They are in just about every room. :)

  • to be honest that suprises me the other dinos haven't done well as they are very common in scifi fantasy as much as dragons and monsters at least in a lot of sifi fantasy I've read and watched and oh and played and art work, maybe giving them extras like weapons and saddles extra will change that. A Wyvren wil be close to the fly dinosaurs will this be a stand alone original or use dragon 3 as base? Should be interesting your take on a Beholder, there may be others already but there are plenty of variations can do to make it unique like any creature character and gotta feeling yours may be pretty freaky creepy

was working on a tr3 render set in hell creek was a fight scene with a giant chimp but kept crashing the plugin for the hair doesn't like the animals enlarged so gotta rethink and downsize rex and hell creek to chimp's size

  • Posted this render and two others featuring HHTriceratops as my first Gallery images. The Trike is one of my favorite dinosaurs to work with as of late - I have three more WIPs featuring him. Thanks again for the wonderful models.

The Wyvern/Dragon will be a stand alone figure as I like to build the geometry from scratch. I searched for a beholder in the store but couldn't find one. I am aiming for mine to be pretty creepy and horrifing.

Thanks to IBL Master for the lighting and iray/ 3delight setup. My environments and lights looked terrible before. Still working on better looking terrains, though.

Eagerly awaiting your Beholder. And your dragon too!

  • just uploaded a new render featuring three of your Tyrannsaurs including this one, the first T2 and your first one Tyrannosaurus Rex - Tyrant-Lizard King, and was doing the used list and noticed your first one no longer exists here couldn't link it and there is no store page did it get deleted?

Both Rex 1 and Rex 2 were going to get disabled from the store but I convinced Daz to keep the second one up still since it has so much content for it.

  • Wow. Cool. All the feathers are great but being an old schooler I just love the bare skin Rex.

How did you achieve the chewed up dead (human) bodies in one of the promos? Postwork, kitbashing or upcoming product?

    Love your work! <3

  • well that kinda sucks, I could understand if it was you the creator who decided to remove it and I'd be ok with that as it is yours but for them I mean ok so some said why do another t rex and at first thought yeah but then like you said you've upgraded them plus if you look at them there are differences in that they are like different breeds of the t rex just like in horses, birds, cats and dogs some with all most dinosaurs.

@ANGELREAPER1972 "well that kinda sucks, I could understand if it was you the creator who decided to remove it"

Really no point in T-Rex 1 being in the store since T-Rex 3 is better in all ways. Likely confusing to new buyers and might rob sales from later model.

FWIW, dinosaurs didn't have breeds. They had different species. T-Rex has changed oveer the years because our knowledge has increased through more complete fossils.
