fencepost: just remember you started it........I am just following up on your idea......

Oh, I'm sure I don't need a reminder on who started it..... :P

*Beginning to rethink about your demand that I must always post a story with my renders* LOL

Well David... I did start off following your latest video tutorial honestly.
But I very quickly got sidetracked into my own little world and ended up not doing the overdriven water... Maybe I'll go back and do that now I've got this rough render out of the way. :-)

Pam, thanks for that... It looks like a lot of fun and so far, I think your render captures the theme the best.
I may even have a go at that one myself as I haven't done a Poser render for over a year. :)

Thanks Dave, it was fun to do, although I did have some trouble fitting the outfit on to my avatar, as she is rather an extreme morph.

@Jamahoney thanks I printed out the floors on paper and planned my routes that way, my original goal was to make it loopable so as to use it as a screen saver so the start and finish positions were the same. I also found difficult were dead stops on the paths, so I used an extra second on each stop and that allowed me to get around the constantly curving paths, I just edited out the extra "paused" frames in video editing. what was, and still is bothering me is how much darker the video was when You Tube rendered the video.

@fencepost52 the stretched foil is pretty damn cool, also the StarSphereGlow2 reminds me of light painting with a long exposure photograph, I had no idea these things were possible

It's a very cleverly put together model you made there and great animation too... well done for coming up with something totally different. :)

@Pam: That image is a hoot. Really nice work.

@Jay: Those are interesting images. Pretty colors.

@Dave: The lighthouse scene is pretty neat. It might be just me but something seems a bit off, like something isn't scaled correctly. Still, nice job.

Something I put together after more playing around with Hexagon. Didn't have the slightest idea what I was going for, but when something appeared the mind took over to define it.

The dais I created for another scene using Bryce. The pillars and the fountain, if you want to call it that, which I did, was Hexagon playing. Use a couple of terrains, add water material, and the result is below.

@Trish - Len would be proud of you.

@Pam - oh Granny Weatherwax who wouldn't know and adore her? That's a really great image.

@Jamahoney - nice doodling results. Second one looks a bit like looking through a waterfall on the left side.

@Dave - nice island. The clouds look great, particularly how they fade into the horizon. Looks very convincing.

@GussNemo - nice start for a fountain. Let the water spill over the edge and creates a water curtain.

This piece of drift wood was wrapped around something when it was formed and after I found it I had to do something with it.

"how much darker the video was when You Tube rendered the video"

Dana...yes, I've uploaded some big Bryce ani's that looked fine, but when YouTubed they are way, way too dark. Nowadays, when doing the editing part(I use Sony Vegas Pro Platinum 11 - not too-bad-an-editing-ware - for its cheap price), I set lighting and contrast on to the pre-upload (even though it looks too bright and sharp then), but looks a bit like the original Bryce when finally uploaded to YouTube.

PS. Thanks all for comments on previous works, too. As for 'doodling' - Bryce really makes it so easy that at times it's hard to stop.

Jay, sound advice, I tried the YouTube video adjustments and they really just made a mess of the color, so I too have started to make everything brighter before YouTube does its thing, I made some adjustments to the Death Star, and even brightened it up before rendering the avis knowing it was going to be darker, although I have since learned that you can not "swap" out videos for newer versions on YouTube, so I guess I might just leave it be.

@Horo: Thanks. A water curtain is a nice idea, but one I wouldn't know how to do.

    @dana: Interesting piece of driftwood.

@user.operator: Guess it's true, Santa can see in the dark. What I can discern it's a nice scene.

@Dave: Wonderful entry. Next we'll likely see "DAZ, breakfast of champions."

@dana365 - not quite sure what I should make of it.

@user.operator - sky looking quite natural, a bit noisy. Good work on the santa image, nice idea.

@Dave - great entry, superbly done.

@Trish - temple ruins is great, too. I first read it as 'Trish by the Temple Ruins'. :-)

@Dave - the blade is less a problem, but the handle. Great model of a knife and nicely lit.

@Trish - assigned to a tester. This usually takes a moment. Meanwhile, what I'm rendering has purple in it - especially added for you.

Nice cup of coffee, sugar needs a bit of work imo. Not that I could probably do any better, but it doesn't really look like sugar.

Yes, the cup, spoon and sugar isn't one of mine and you're right, those sugar lumps don't look very sugary to me either. :)
