I normally use "alt shading rate" for hair instead of primitive hitmode, upping quality just enough to get rid of any noise.

Sounds good, just how do you do that?

It's part of the Advanced light flagging options, but I don't want to go off topic (or at least feel I better not go too far off topic), so I'll link to my livestream vid...

    hope that helps ;-)

Here is a scene I did with M6,

I made it before I had the HD morphs and then added them when I bought them. The texture is the M5 Elite Dave texture with Add Some Veins added.

If you check between the two renders you will see the difference between HD and non HD

I must be blinder than I thought I cant see the difference?

I been having a mess again though I prefer the earlier renders I did, thought I would post it as the HD details look good.

Yeah, I wasn't convinced either, till I looked at them via Windows Photo Viewer and flicked between the two. Everything in the HD render is much more defined and there are changes across the whole figure. This was why I was initially unenamoured with M6HD as everything appeared to be too subtle.

That character morph you've done is beautiful, you should give her a name and release her

    Thanks again Rogerbee

Ill go into studio later and save off a scene with just V6HD with the dialed morphs on the face, and put the default clothes on her and add the duf file to my gallery if that feature is working, Ill add it to all 3 in the portraits folder as I used it in all 3.

    steve.

    Cool,

I'm not sure how you save dialable morphs with Genesis yet.

I was initially unenamoured of the Bjorn texture, then I played with the shader settings, did a little morph dialling and I really like him now.

    Lovin' the HD

This is Victoria 6HD pretty much straight out of the box morph and texture wise.

She simply screams screen siren to me :P

Now that is a great render,

I wouldn't mind knowing how that was lit.

    Thanks Roger.

I added the scene file to the gallery listing.

I don't know how well it works if you don't have all the items in the scene, but if you have V6HD you will at least get that and the lights are standard spots.

The way I work lights is to position the perspective view where I think a light should be and then add a light using the Create menu, add light and have it copy the active view-port. Then I adjust settings.

You will see that there is no background in the scene. I used the background as a transparent alpha channel ad added it in Photoshop. Nothing magic, just a simple thing.

When you click the 'Download Scene File' button, all that happens is that you get taken to the main gallery. Not sure what happened there.

In Windows, I was able to download it by selecting the link, right click and select "Save Target as.." which opens a file save window.

edit: @Vanguard, thanks for sharing your Siren HD scene file!

Must have been IE, I did it in Waterfox by doing 'Open link in new tab'.

    I got it anyway
