    Bummer! I was re-shading Parkside Point by Jack Tomalin to look like the actual Lighthouse it is based on, which is Split Rock Lighthouse along Lake Superior's north shore. I just got done shading the glass Fresnel lens and wanted to test it with caustics, but saw the progress bar for the light calculation inch along slowly. I decided to abort the render and skip the caustics, but I forgot to turn it off and then I went to add a light sphere and here I sit, waiting for the caustics to calculate before I can even get out of the light sphere editor. :shut:

    Ouch!
    Caustics can take a long time in the render. But sometimes the results can be truly breathtaking.
