  • I ran the skirt through the Fixer script anyway and added Hip, Large Zone Expanders, and Skirt moprhs.  I played around with the skirt and it seems to be working ok.  One weird thing - I wasn't able to add a smoothing modifier.  Is that normal?

That is weird.  Is the smoothing modifier already there?

Well, on that front, I converted V4 FaeRealm (https://www.daz3d.com/fae-realm-for-victoria-4-aiko-4-and-elite) using RSSY Clothing Converter Helper V4 to G8F.  Then I tried to ran the Fixer script and it says that the top and skirt aren't clothing (see attached screenshot).  Both garments seem to work fine and fit to G8F without any problems (not a sign of the hideous V-blotch on the skirt).  It seems like all I need to do is manually add the metadata.  But I can't figure out where to do this.

EDIT: I had another thought - I'm bad about reorganizing my Poser content since, for the most part, Poser wasn't terribly picky about where things were located.  So the cr2 files for this set were in the Props folder instead of Figures.  Would that have made any difference?

Look for the tutorial in my signature about BEWARE THE SOCKMAN and it will let you know how make an .obj file into a piece of conforming clothing. :)

  • Why are there two install files?  One is labeled DS.  And one isn't.  I install manually.  Do I need them both?

If you are installing manually, you only need the zip file.

I am sorry.  I just checked how Daz packaged up our product.  For some reason, Daz split up our one zip file into two.  You need BOTH zip files.

Thanks for the heads up, Riversoft. :)

  • Hi Riversoft & Sickleyield,

Just wanted to say thank you very much for this product. It's lightweight, fast, and adds some really nice options.

In using it, found myself wishing for just a few more foot and head morphs options.  Like more positioning options on forehead line, or top front of foot, there is a zone that morphs just don't quite impact as much as other zones.  The breast smoother iunclusion was great too, though a few more toptions would be great.  Would buy happily an expanded version for this. Should you decide it's worth your time :)

As it is, use this alot, and add the "heavier" fit-on addons if needed.

    Thanks guys. smiley

You're welcome!   I will mention this to Sickleyield (she is the morph maker smiley)

    Hi there,

I bought this Item at April 10, 2020 and it's not really working. I always get the message that the files of the Ultimate Clothing Fixer are not found. I install manually but my content directory looks exactly the same like the file list in the documentation center.

Script: DAZ Studio\Content\Scripts\RiverSoft Art\Ultimate Clothing Fixer

    Files: DAZ Studio\Content\People\Genesis 8 Female\Clothing\Ultimate Clothing Fixer

Unfortunately I can not find the error. Maybe someone has an idea what I have to change, that it works.

Is "Content" the name of a Daz Studio content library that is configured in the Daz Studio Formats section of the Content Directory Manager?

Exactly. And I always make sure that all the folders in my library are named the same as the folders in the ZIP file. That's why I don't understand why the files cannot be found.

Sorry for my bad english. I'm from Germany.

What is the exact error message?  I need the Daz log to figure out what is happening.

I watched the video from Sickleyield to be sure I follow the correct steps to use. After running the script I get the error message and the window for selection the figure you want to use pops up empty

Unfortunately, I don't see the error in the log.  Those warnings can be safely ignored.  Does an error dialog display?
