I own LAMH, but I see no update to the new version in my DIM. Any hints?

    That's my question, too.
Do we have to buy an upgrade (if yes, what would be the link to that product page?), or download the updateelsewhere?

No, the 1.5 is a free update. Probably DAZ servers didn't sync yet, but it will available in your DIM.

I manually downloaded the new installer from my DAZ product library this a.m. so it's there even if it isn't in the DIM yet.

The product page mentions minimum Windows specs of an openGL 2.0 capable graphics card

does this mean that with a lower speced card LAMH will just not work at all or just that its performance will be slower or something?

Difficult to predict what may happen with a lower spec card. Which one do you have? Maybe we tested it and I could give you some information.

I see LaMH in DIM too, though it doesn't say 1.5 in the file name (presumably so that DIM knows it's an update of the older version)..

I had been worried because the installation is a bit complicated - I am running Studio on Win 7 in a Virtualbox machine on a Linux host.

Studio reports the openGL version as: 2.1 Chromium 1.9

Am I OK? Presumably the 2.1 is the crucial number, I don't know what the 1.9 means.

I haven't tested LAMH in VirtualBox environment in a while. I don't see why there would be a problem though. I'll load up a VBox session a little later and try it myself just to make sure.

It caught me on the hop by appearing within DIM in the Product list, not in the Product Updates list - I could have sworn I had obtained (a version of) LAMH via DIM. Maybe it was 'just' the Player that I did.

I'm feeling stupid. I did the 64-bit download via the DIM and it appears in the Installed pane of DIM, but if I select Installed Files the box is blank.

I can open LAMH from Studio but once I've re-entered my details I end up in the 1.01 version.

Is there something I've missed? Do I also need the 32-bit version for all this to work? Should I have uninstalled the older version?

Probably the easiest thing to do would be to uninstall, then make sure that there are no dll files starting with lamh in your DAZStudio4 plugins folder (if so, delete them), then reinstall from the DIM.

I just bought LAMH along with the new moose.
    the moose works great.

Look at my hair program not so much.
so I don't know what I may have done wrong so I'll try to add snipits to my post.

Image 1- daz recognize my LAMH plugin automatically with out asking for my Serial Number, is that suppose to do that?

Image 2 I had to manually load look at my hair from my program folder. it did not load a start menu on my desk top or my start menu as I had set during install
I also had to save my project before i could get it to load into the LAMH program - Is that suppose to do that?

Image 3- The follicles box does not not look the same as the way you have it in the pdf instructions . it does not list the tabs as on or off.
Image 4 The Grow hair sliders does not work or seem to be frozen in place, when I try to move them but they just return back to the original setting and the hair follicles don;t react to the sliders. I folowed thwe PDF instuctions but this does not seemt o resolve the issues.

Other than that I can't tell you any more because it appears at least for me that I can not get this to work in Daz Studio Pro4.6 64 byte version, and that is as far as I can get with this plugin

Is LAMH supported in Dazpro4.6? I have followed every instruction you had in the provided PDF and I still seem to have a frozen version of LAMH

Also none of the Desk Top Icons or start up menu icons or the Uninstaller - installed even with default settings checked

Any Ideas on how I can fix these issues . I hate to return this product, I had it in my wish list a long time and used my bonus commission money to buy it. so any help would be great... or is it not supported in Daz4.6?

I should add my computer more than well fits into your system requirements I added a snap of my graphic card gpu :)

    Thanks ~Ivy

Thanks for such a quick answer, Kendall. I'll give it a go. Fingers crossed.

Hello Ivy, the 1.5 documentation is still being worked: we hope to have it released this week.

However, the reason why you can't use any slider is that you actually didn't grow any guides. See attached image showing the button to be pressed for growing hairs.

Having downloaded LAMH via DIM a day or so back I was a little surprised to see it 'back' as a Product Update already! Dare I ask what was changed?

We fixed a crash that slipped through the cracks. If you've downloaded the previous version, please update to the current DIM version ASAP.

I have been updating LAMH via the Release Candidates...If I download and install the latest 1.5 LAMH Full from my Daz library and install it, will I have to go through the registration process again or are the orginal Registration details maintained.

    Cheers,

    S.K.

I had this question as well and would like to know if I need to delete any of the previous RC, or will the new release simply replace it?
