    lyre birds :)

Wow, too bad Ken Gilliland moved his store from DAZ, or he could have another project after looking at those lyre birds. They look exotic.

Morning. Whoa light rain falling from a lead grey sky for a while is cooling things down here :)

...about time for you folks down there. 110°+ heat wave, then afterwards the fires was beginning to wonder what could be next.

Flooding rain for Wendy, they sure copped a lot of weather, but here is just enough to wash some of the grime from everything and give us some patches of blue sky. Feels good. There is a storm blowing in from the Southern Ocean that should cool us down more next week.

Everyone quotes Dorothy Mackeller so I will:

The love of field and coppice
    Of green and shaded lanes,
    Of ordered woods and gardens
    Is running in your veins.
    Strong love of grey-blue distance,
Brown streams and soft, dim skies
I know, but cannot share it,
    My love is otherwise.

    I love a sunburnt country,
    A land of sweeping plains,
    Of ragged mountain ranges,
    Of droughts and flooding rains.
    I love her far horizons,
    I love her jewel-sea,
    Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me!

The snow is supposed to get worse pretty soon in my area. The cape (Cape Cod) is supposed to get the worst of it...blizzard conditions. We might as well, it's a tough call...but we'll know soon enough.

What? It still only February? :-/ Heeeeeellllp!

Her eyes open and shut, as well as her mouth. No teeth, maybe Zevo's got some for her. I don't know when I will get to see her in person. I hope it's before she morphs into a Young Teen.

Thanks for all the congrats and to tjohn for the piccy. These young girls don't know squat. Ashtyn was born yesterday afternoon and here she is going home today. Mothers need to stay in the hospital as long as they can and rest up for what's ahead for the next 18+ years. It will be some time before she needs another car seat.

Thanks for the comments on Ashtyn. Temp in the 60's when I got up this morning, so the yard will get some attention today. I hope this little miss likes to play in the dirt and comes to visit often.

Can one have a GI party for a front yard?

Cho, you've got to get tougher. Shake that club and threaten your great-grandson's parents and grandparents until you get some piccys of him.

He did? I only have his Corvus Corvus set, so didn't realize that. I love his bird collections, but I don't use birds in many of my outdoor/landscape renders, so have never bought any until just before he left DAZ.
