Density Map Set 2 This is all 1 shave group in which I meant the hair and beard were created in 1 shot, I could have made a seperate shave group for the beard and made it a little thicker in hair thickness and density, I might try that tomorrow with the same density so you can see the difference in the 2 and to show you can do different variations with the same density maps.

    Steve.

    **EDIT**

Just to add the one With thicker beard from the same maps.

I am trying not to swear I am so impressed with the top image of this post.

Hope this comes out before christmas and I hope my pooor puter will cope. ;)

That may postpone my purchase (unwillingly on my part, I assure you) if I am unsure on how much money to svae. Is there a ballpark figure you can share

Sooooo just to show you how versatile this is... you can use it to create toon and anime hair too! And i personally think it's quite lovely!

This just keeps getting better. Will there be many presets to get us started? And will there be any tutorials? The plugin looks like the solution to a lot of things I want to do; I'm just wondering what the learning curve will be like.

There will be a collection of presets for Genesis and most common figures, and also some animals, and of course tutorials as well on my Youtube LAMH Channel.
The plugin can do complex things and has lot of options and features. But the basic operations needed to get some decent hair are quite intuitive and build a hair style from scratch is very quick. Obviously complex hair styling needs practice, but there will be plenty of videos that will show how to comb and style hair properly.

You're making me sad I spent so much money on hair this year..But being able to upgrade my dog and cat would be really awesome. Please consider the big cat as well ;)

I'll try to do what I can, but obviously I can't make dozen and dozen of presets and include those in the plugin without raising the price.

Yeah I know, just a gentle nudge :) I know even just with big cats there are a bunch of them so I can't expect to see them all. For me even one would be really great, they are just very different than the pets.

What do you think of making
    a) the plugin
    b) presets as a second product
    ???

Question: Can hair made through LAMH be rigged? Morphed?

  • DisparateDreamerDisparateDreamer Posts: 2,505
    edited December 1969

if you export the hair as an object instead of renderman curves, I think you could probably end up rigging it and making morphs. It would be faster to simply restyle the hair in LAMH, though! And renderman curves render MUCH MUCH MUCH faster in DS than the geometry obj does. Alessandro would have a more def answer than I do, tho.
