Asking questions is how I figure out if I can use said product, the toon shaders are just a bonus since I really liked those renders of Joe's awesome products. I want to know if there is any way to use this with G8 since I don't have, and don't plan on getting any time soon. G8.1

Since nobody was asking for it, here's Drago Hatchling without Drago:

  • So I figured I would drop this here hoping to hear from the creator, I am testing out the Drago morph (https://www.daz3d.com/drago-for-genesis-8-males) and noticed that as I go between 0 and 100% the wings and horns do very undesired things, they don't remain at a good location, this behaviour strikes me as odd because if I use the hatchling version and do the samething with the drago morph, the wings remain in a good location but the horns still do undesired things, this seems like a bug to me due to this inconsistency when compared to the hatchling. Also considering that a previous figure (https://www.daz3d.com/gargoyle-hd-for-genesis-8-males) didn't display this quirk it seems like a bug to me.

My favorite character in 3Delight days was Muck. Here he is on his jungle honeymoon with Mavka.

It seems like you started geografting too? The Drago is really cool!

    Yep, Sickleyield taught me how.

bwhaha! Mouse in the new rocker dude outfit is TOOOOO CUTE!

  • I've just bought the funny Storybook Mouse but could someone tell me please how to dress the mouse over the dForce fur? The fur is poking through the complete outfit. I tried it with the Romeo Shirt like in one of the promos but no luck. On the product page it says about DForce hair settings... Where? And the morphs for the head (ears etc.) I also cannot find anywhere. And is there a way to pose the tail? Selecting all the bones does not work. It bends just for the last 4 bones. Is there a readme or such? Thanks in advance...

The Horns are smart props.  You will need to move/scale them.

It looks like for some reason the drago morph isn't auto following.  Strange.  It doesn't make sense that it would in one instance (hatchling) and not another (drago). They are the same wings and morphs.

One way is to hide the body parts of the fur you want to hide.  Don't want hairy arms? Hide the arms of the mouse fur.

Another option is to just render twice and composite.

Don't know what to tell you about tail.  None of the bones are locked, all are poseable.

As far as I know, there is no EasyPose support available for the tail (at least I could not find it).

You need to pose each segment of the tail separately.

Just found the other thread on such topic:

I just select all the bones in the scene tab, make sure they're also selected in parameters, and then spin the dials.

That or I just grab the tip of the tail and yank it where I want it to go.

Or I use one of muscleman's pose presets.

Good job on the new turtle, he looks great. I'm a bit curious to know how just a little of him would blend with a human face...there's a certain someone I'd like to make a likeness of who already has some turtle-like qualities.   ;)

I'm happy to see the turtle too, but can he withdraw into his shell? Or do we need to hide the non-carapace parts before we close the carapace?

    ?

I hadn't thought of adding that. Still, as a general rule, if a product isn't marketed as being able to do something, it can't do it.

At the same time, this seems like a really good job for the dynamic transpose tool in zbrush, and I do like a puzzle.

I'm working on a monster this week, but if I get it done with it and have some spare time on my schedule, I'll see what I can do.

Storybook Mouse came out on May 18, 2021 and has earned $118.42 less in total lifetime sales than Mrs. Hedgehog.

Mrs. Hedgehog came out on Jul 20, 2017.

The mouse might catch her by the end of the month.

In his first month on the market he will likely make more than Mrs. Hedgehog made in four years.

That's just the econmics of it.

Instead you might consider investing in these two products:

    https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-8-cross-figure-resource-kit

    and

I want to second the trans morphs. They do a FANTASTIC job, and I appreciate, as a creator of weird stuff, that they can easily broaden the usefulness of figures.

Someone on the tech forum asked if the mouse had a rat morph. I suggested using the available morphs to try and make one, however it does raise an interesting question about the mouse.

Yeah, either way I'm snagging him but this would be a fun thing to be able to do!

Strange that I need to move the horns, when I replace them with those from the Torment figure, there is no need for intervention. I agree with your comment that it doesn't make sense, but here we are with the bug.

One is a smart prop the other is a conformer or geograft.

They are different things and behave different ways.

JoeQuick: I love the way you support your products. I am not usually a creatures person (I do plan on getting the mouse soon though), but I will buy any of your clothes any day of the week!

The turtle doesn't appear to have any metadata. It doesn't appear in Smart Content, nor as a product in Content Library, but I can find it under Genesis 8 Male (not 8.1 Male, where I would expect to find it) if I drill down in Content Library.
