    The tryptich :

    The story :
The little girl leaves for a better place.
She lives there for a while and started a long walk back from isolation as a young lady.
Finally in another life, she plays guitar for her best friends.

@ adbc: Private concert - a very cool picture. I like it. Your tryptich is a fantastic idea with the story it tells. Very well.

@ spuddy: Thank you. A cool oasis to sit and think - breathtaking vegetation, very good light. Excellent work.

@ Tim82: Wouldn't it be nice - WOW! What a dream beach. Incredibly good job.

spuddy - A cool oasis to sit and think looks great, such a rich and beautiful vegetation.

Tim82 - Wouldn't it be nice - yes it would, but just looking at your entry is also very nice, even a bit more than just nice.

adbc: Strange, but very nice new render. I like the Triptych too.

Spuddy: Very good vegetation round your very nice oasis

Tim82: You're beach is very nice. Lovely view, great sky. Perhaps I would have preferred a little more light in the shadow regions.

I made yet another version of my barn in the hills. I changed location of vegetation and changed the river a bit too. I wish I was able to create the kind of vegetation Slepalex uses. I guess I am either not proficient enough or too lazy for that level. Nevertheless, the first version of the scene with the barn is still my entry.

    Hi Hans.
I will only talk about the shortcomings.
    1. Rocks that are too elongated along Y do not create a realistic feeling. Therefore, the lower part of the landscape is quite acceptable, but these unreal rocks at the top spoil.
    2. The roots of trees need to be drowned in the ground.
    3. Too much Ambience on the foliage of trees. And on the tree on the right even the trunk glows.
    ****
If, for obvious reasons, you do not want to use translucent foliage, then set the Ambience value to no more than 5 - 10. If you use Bryce Sky HDRI and TA, then everything will look decent even in backlight.
Rashad has long convinced me that there should always be Ambience = 0 in good global lighting. But the combination of translucent foliage and the rendering of "Premium TA 64 rpp, soft shadows" is beyond the time of rendering. I'm tired of fighting this circumstance and rendering time, even with my updated computer. Therefore, I often began to apply some value of Ambience. But there should be a reasonable restriction in everything.

Hansmar - great scene, a bit like a painting. There are indeed a few trees not buried in the ground, the golden one at right is the most obvious. I almost never use ambience to brighten up dark parts. With an HDRI, you can reduce the shadow intensity (IBL, never sun) to light parts that are too dark in the shadow.

    Tim - beautiful image.
