Excellent, I will try this tonight.

But also, could this not become a one-click solution?

Where, you simply pick one item in the scene and the script will select EVERYTHING else (automatically) and then Zero the item you picked and keep everything else positioned- intact?

I mean, the mesh grabber got a full-product-cost add-on, which is wonderful, but basically it'[s like buying another full product.

I would be willing to buy an add-on that made this a one-click solution.

Tonight, I will execute this and get it done. For a while, I will remember exactly how this all works.

Months from now, I will need to use this and will be google searching for this thread as a refresher- or looking through my tips an tricks document as a reminder.

I'd rather have a simple, simple solution that requires - almost no memory of instructions, steps or order of operations.

Can anything be added this to product to simplify this procedure?

Well hard to answer. I'll have a look at what I can do. I don't say yes or no, because I have to think about a smart way to do this regarding everything that is already included....

Edit: but I think that if you use the first solution, it will be easy to remember (especially if you leave the viewport multi-transform activated), since you just have to select all in the scene tab and move it where you want using the viewport tool.

My battles with the Active Joint tool have left me wary of EVER trying to match two points in Daz Studio.

I'll have a look at what I can do.

I say you cash-out and make an official add-on and add...that on.

Speaking of joints, EVERYONE wants a simple way to change the origin point of an object, Everyone.

If you could create a simple and elegant solution, I think it'd be more popular than this.

    Thanks either way.

That's a good idea, thanks for that :)
