Since there's different categories of dragon, it's always good to have a simple base and build from there. Makes the figure much more versatile than just one shape that's hard to morph from the base. And I think a dragon is basically a big lizard, that you can make cute, noble or scary. ;)

hey no need to be sorry..it is an opinion one which I share. I was excited about the release now I am left deflated. What was I expecting well something better than Mil Dragon and so far nothing I have seen comes close or beats it. Even the promo images fall short. Oh well at least I will save some more money. :)

Are you saying the base morphs or the base plus a morph package? Asking since I was having problem on the page that list the base package and what comes with it! I'm not say you can't make a nice dragon from this product but without the morphs then I would end up with a nice lizard!! I'll more than likely pick the item up but I can't say I'll jump on it!

    Thanks for your comments!

Either way, it's better to have a simpler base to work from. Say someone wanted to create a toy dragon from it. If you have a big scaly dragon, then you would have spend a lot of time to smooth out features to get to that point. A simpler base you can build from you can go into a lot more directions, making the product more versatile... just like having the base genesis 2 female or male and then having products that build from that.

Here is my first render using the base dragon and morphs pack.

The texture is modified by me to make it more cold/ice colored.

I can see him now! Use the new AoA Grass Shader with Nature's Variance - Shaders And Props - mix the colors up and you'd have a greater furry creature!!

It's a really beautiful looking dragon, I'd love to buy it But just a little to pricey "Really"!!! $87 bucks at 30% is just to much even the base is $27 bucks that just to much for my budget, specially when i don't have any information on how good it works in poser.
so I wish listed Dragon 3 until Daz puts it on a sale, and I get to see some product reviews. maybe in a few months to a year. it will be 50% to 60% off and i can pick it up then, I'm patient :D

I have to ask Daz why have the prices gone up on Daz products so much? Some clothing and props that not a month or so ago where only $11 to 15 bucks and now they are over $20 bucks. I say this because i have many items in my wish that where priced in the 10 to 15 buck range and now seems simular product have almost doubled I don't understand why? Sadly for me it has really slowed my buying down here Daz.
Its to bad my pay check doesn't work that way.. :) Still a great looking dragon. I guess I am just envious of those who can afford to purchase it.

Edit once for spelling and grammer - yes I am dyslexic ..lol

I'm still using Poser 9 since 10 was so wacky when I tried using it. It seemed like none of the widow panes would stay with the program or close up. I'd love to have 2014 but that will have to wait for now. Studio is so much easier to use too!

I'm to the point that if the item isn't 50% off I'm not buying. I can't see not being a premium member with the regular prices being so high. At least you get the monthly freebees as a member and a better price on items!

Since there's a No Wings geograft I assume they are part of the base model, which the geoGraft hides when applied.

    geografts don't actually swap geometry?
but, geografts can be a posable figure?

    i'm not really understanding.

there is a geograft to cover up the holes left by hiding the wings?

what if wanted girl dragons who lay eggs?

iz a deep mystery how it all works.

Female Dragon - interesting! I'd like to see someone's interpretation of a feminine dragon!!
