The Mad Lab lists a Poser Core Installer. The Chem Lab bundle lists a Poser Core Installer. However the individual parts of the chem lab bundle only list DSON files. I would like to buy both parts but the product pages are pretty confusing. I don't usually hesitate to buy something with you as a vendor but I get tired of having to return items that just don't work properly in the applications I use them in. Do the various parts of the Chem Lab have both Poser and DS files or is this a DSON product with PCF's?
They do contain Poser installers, we are going to report this mistake.
they were all poser libraries with the ds shaders in poser folder.
the ds legacy files were mixed in there too, i remember spending the time to remove the legacy files
the Chem lab bundle has Poser files and Daz files, I know as I too bought it today and used both,
DAZ in DS and Poser in Carrara
The pack is fully compatible with Poser. It was made in Poser and then converted for DS. I'll look into it. Nothing should have to have DSON
Not DSON. I did manual downloads so I could unzip and get a look at the folders. It's not that the runtime folder isn't present or that the set up has an issue. I'm still trying put the pieces together on my personal system after it went to it's final death. Usually products with DS and Poser files have separate zips. Having the DS and Poser files all in one folder isn't a problem, it's just one of the first times I noticed it.
The DSON reference is more mine to separate duf files from older (pre DS4.5) files.

Everything should be within the Runtime folder. What is at the first level?
Which pack specifically are you having the problem with
Are you talking about the Bonus Bundle pack for the Mad Chemistery Lab
After unzipping all the packs individually I saw that the Mad Cemetery Lab - Bundle doesn't unzip into a Runtime. It is only a Library folder. I set it up to be in a Runtime structure so I'm gonna check whats up with that.
hmm weird I never got a thingy that this thread even had replies. Had hubby not told me I'd have not even realized :( But hubby took care of everything so I think I wont worry about it though I do wonder why I didn't get an ebot :(
On topic, in general we always do full Poser support. The ONLY exception is when I do Genesis and Genesis 2 characters...then its DSON but environments, you all will always have Poser Support and if at some point we would decide to drop that, we would announce we are doing that... (unlikely but I never say never cuz you never know how circumstances can change) ATM though we create every pack in Poser and then Neil translates it all over to DAZ Studio for us so unless we completely change how we initially approach a pack, I can't see us dropping Poser support any time soon (especially considering Poser is still my personal app of choice) :)
