    FREEBIE CANTEEN FINALLY

I had to go back to an earlier version.  Might be some flaws.  Please check to confirm that something uploaded.

Thanks for the comments on the cookies, UB, Stezza.  The cookie pile is a regular replicator (not surface) adjusting the cell size until the seemed about right.  Perhaps a Count is needed to count the cookies?

I have a model of this car. It's in metal and mounted on a stand. I have had it for years... Got it as a present when I was in my twenties ( a long time ago )

So I went searching on the web and found this http://www.dmi-3d.net/lamborghini1.html

Always loved it (and I am at that age were I should buy it). Just wish that I had the money.

So let see if I can do somethig fun with it .... wink

Veronika, love these sketch effects.  I don't have Rebelle, etc., but will search for some more online examples and resources.  Great look.

wow, so much cool stuff since I signed in, sorry for being away, work and little computer time

when covid started I maintained lack of sanity by making a veggie garden

I'm still waiting for my first tomatoes - I have fancy lettuce by the dozen, kale mistubamizuna, four different types of mustard, three types of radishes a few turnips, parsley, coriander, radicchio, rocket by the squillion, cabbages, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Kohl rabi, miners lettuce, land cress, nasturtiums, edible chrysthenmumpak choibok choichoi choi, cress, mint, basil, capsicums, beans, snow peas, I can elucidate on the sex life of zuccinis...

but the one thing I don't have yet is tomatoes

that's what I really want (before the  possums get them)

here's Frank, he already got his - Frank got a bit of a razzing elsehwere so I had to fix up his crotch because he was looking a little too happy....

    Frank is M4 -

this was another version but he was looking a little stiff legged....

Super cool Varsel. I misread the first sentence the first time (was listening to a podcast while reading) and I thought you were given the actual car as a gift and thought, whoah! Nice present! laugh

Pretty sure you can do something fun with the model.

DesertDude - thanks for the snail modeling tutorial.  Always more to learn.  Software lessons generally translate.

UnifiedBrain - That cover is Romance Ready!  Love the little touches like the Canadian price up the spine.

Here is something simple and predictable with the hairy monster.  Dolly is from the Carrara Native Object Browser.

    Another Freebie on the Way!

A canteen - guess what someone really wants.

Free for any use.  Actually, its is a rather poor job of modeling for such simple shapes.  But hey, it is free.

Some render with a canteen to follow at some point.

EDIT: for some reason the Zip file is not uploading but the pic is.  Will try again later.

Thanks for the freebies Diomede. Canteen looks great!
P.S. edited to add it opened fine on my computer. Cheers!

Thanks all for nice comments on the shell WIP. Sorry I haven't put together my mini tut yet.

I've been picking at my image all week, and while it's far from finished, thought I'd share my current WIP:

Still lots to do. I want to add in more grass, weeds, rocks and pebbles...and finish the the flower, lol. Just kind of burned out on computer stuffs today. I did make a quickie composite using a Depth Matte to drive some color and atmosphere into the background. Also used Carrara's native Depth of Field. This is still a total WIP.

And see? I told you I was gonna rip off Goya. laugh

    awesome snails @desertdude

one of the aftermaths of our flooding is an influx of slugs! I think they are snails that  lost their homes during the floods cool

    10 day alert
