    Carrara Native render

faster than Octane but on my i7 with the good CPU

(my Octane Ryzen3 rig is useless for CPU engines)

I used a lot of biased cheats though like shadow buffer, light all except and glow

another try to get matching between carrara and D/S renders. I can almost say it could be possible to work simultaneously and profitably with all the tools by daz and get the most by each of them. Hopefully I'd have a working bridge to houdini to close the circle

    testing DOF and glare

an underutilised carrara characteristic - nice work with the dof - could be magical!

    absolutely

DOF, glare, haze and light fog are all part of my realistic scene settings

the guys behind carrara did a great work indeed

i second  that, wonder where they are now....

I know where one is! Philip Staiger is with Project Dogwaffle! :) He used to work for Eovia - link takes us to his About page on his site

    ...and Suspense!!! Very nicely done!

Also a very cool use of the Carrara EnvironKit - Woodlands! I didn't even recognize it at first, until I saw my custom wild cranberry bush in the foreground. I love how you populated it up! Looks Fantastic!!!!

HW - Love that nothing serious render!

Misty, those are some awesome characters! Had some fun at the R'osity sale, perhaps? Very cool! And I love how you're getting better and better with your use of HDR lighting/backgrounds. Fun!
