compiling a Skype group

I used to chat to a lot of people on this forum I have not heard from for a very long time.
they are just not here, not chatting to anyone.
Sockratease one that comes to mind, so many others
DS4 lost many Poser users for a start
then Mac Carrara users not able to run it on Mountain Lion onwards
think a few Hexagon users and Brycers too had update issues
Windows 8 also been a killer for some of them
then there are those who got lives what ever that is.
anyway past year at least I spent a lot of time not so much on the forum as just watching it through Jeff's eyes on skype as he did his job as Jaderail, I occasionally posted help in areas I could but mostly did not socialize as such.
my Post count while still massively big has not increased much last year
I was third once.
I am posting this in the hope they are lurking as I did a lot more this year
as due to the void in my 3D chat life left by Jeff / Jaderail's sad departure
I am in severe danger of becoming a troll and nobody wants that least of all me,

Sorry, I'm not an old friend but I have really appreciated the help you've given me and your advice on the forums. If that's trolling, troll away! As a Newbie it really helps. I was planning on doing this on a rather tight budget and I just over-spent terribly. I am lurking and reading and trying to get up the courage to try modeling. You have inspired me. As far as where people have gone, I'm too new to figure that one out. I do know I have been sad about the state of converting V4 dresses to Genesis and Genesis 2. That other place is all about V4 and Dawn mostly. I know Daz3d has moved further away from Poser but as a new user. I liked the Genesis stuff and didn't have lots of stuff that wouldn't work well with them. I am working and saving up and refining how to spend and what I need to learn to do to keep this affordable and possible for me. And I am going in to work today, so real life does take a bit out of me. The other day I was on here looking around before work and I put on the wrong shoes and had to come home and change. Ooops. Again!
I have not been on the forums for long, a little over a year, but I have become used to seeing certain User's ID's. It can be frustrating to have people you know just disappear. I hope they are lurking and read your posts and get in touch with you.
Not been around that long but I've seen a few of the people who used to post here posting over on the HW forums.
I hope you find them, and they find you soon, mistress. I for one am not goin anywhere. :)

just so many seem to have gone in such a short time largely unnoticed by me until now
losing Jaderail made me realize how much I used to chat on the forum.
not really been active much on here, not been very chatty for a while now. Can usually find me on Skype or on YouTube

I like WendyCatz. She inspires me and makes me laugh alot. However Im a pretty loud lurker. Im sure I not alone in that feeling. Hope she allows us to help fill the void even if we could never fill the shoes of Jade.
I'm not really chatty at the best of times... and right now isn't the best of times. I've been working on next month's Freebie Challenge, and now I have to change it enough so people can post Jaderail tributes (because that's what they want to do) without changing the theme (because that's what Jeff would have wanted). And work's been busy.
I went into a bit of a depression last October and I just haven't been able to shake it. Its really made it difficult to be an active socializer. I really haven't been doing much art or anything. Its been a little better the last couple of weeks, i have managed to do a few renders, but nothing like what I used to. So yeah, not exactly been a happy chatty person lately. In a weird way, I wouldn't be as active on the forums as I am now had Jaderail not passed away. News of his Passing is what brought me out of super stealth lurk mode.

Hi wendy♥catz. I'm not an old friend, don't socialize much on the forums. I wanted to tell you that I love the wacky animations of Jaderail you posted on another thread. I didn't know Jeff very well, wish I had now.
LycanthropeX, I hope you are getting out of your depression funk. I've done some of that a lot of that in the past. I love your renders and hope you will be doing (and posting) more.

I can Skype. No video though! UGH, I look horrible with those webcams. I don't think I've seen anyone who doesn't look like a thug posing for a mugshot, and that's just not an image of me I want someone to see, or for me to see a friend like that, lol!

I a not on here as much as I used to be. Although I do check in a few times a week. I never was really chatty. Things seemed to have changed so much too fast in Daz land. And life happens. I miss many of the familiar posters too
I've never used Skype. Didn't know you could chat. I thought it was all about the video thing. Not something I want to subject others to. ;-)
As for the assorted nuts group...can I be a walnut? (Is that nutty enough?)
yes you can just use Skype like an IM, you can also set up groups and such, you do not have to use the video chat feature, i never do
I text chat to others on skype like live chat
can be one on one like facebook chat or in a group
you just add others to your coversation for a group.
I would just do a casual group adding people to my contacts if they contacted me by PM here
they would need to join skype first and have a username one could search.
those people then could add others to group too
as said a casual dynamic chat thing
just do NOT add any Generals serving in Afganistan!!! they are frauds
its kind of kool because you can send files and its like when you send a file it can be sent to everyone in the group at once
