I text chat to others on skype like live chat
can be one on one like facebook chat or in a group
you just add others to your coversation for a group.
I would just do a casual group adding people to my contacts if they contacted me by PM here
they would need to join skype first and have a username one could search.
those people then could add others to group too
as said a casual dynamic chat thing

just do NOT add any Generals serving in Afganistan!!! they are frauds

Oh, did he try to chat you up too? Bless his heart. All that heavy shelling rattled his brain so much that he couldn't even give me the correct location for his headquarters. He should not have tried it on a Colonel's mother.

I think I am not the only one who is more quiet now
because of a quick and harsh forum police
these are the sites of a selling company so critics are not wanted
and even Jade had a more tough talking style before they made him admin
    I will miss him
to wendycatz: for me you are the real artist around here with your obscure videos

I have changed the thread title, if anyone wants to join our very casual group please PM me with their skype name so I can find you or pass on mine
it is a very loose sort of group just so people can chat and ask stuff they are maybe stuck on, have a laugh, getting a quick reply to a question someone may know or share a sale or find.
no rules except not to bitch about others.

    Hi, Wendy ~

I don't do the webcams, and I only speak over the comms on Skype when I am not actively working in Poser or Studio, as I am usually multi-tasking on the computer and have found that I cannot work constructively on content while I am speaking. I do use the text/IM part of it while logged in and working without any issues, though.

I have some odd hours (I'm nocturnal, and in the EST time zone), and I go through dry spells where I'm not around much, offset by very very busy spells where I'm around a LOT... but if you want it, I'll PM you my Skype account.

    silly rabbit

Yes, but his renders are always outstanding.

@Wendy, I've never used Skype. An acquaintance up in Maine used it every now and then to call me on the phone because she didn't have any other kind of "free" long distance phone service. I didn't know Skype did IM's either. When I first started hanging out online many years ago (mid to late 90's) I was using ICQ, but then after about a dozen years, someone hacked my account, so I gave it up for GTalk (from Google), and still use that pretty much exclusively to chat with some online friends daily. With my newer smartphone (and matching tablet), I can send and receive IMs from my GTalk account, so it's convenient even when I'm not home.

If I ever decide to try Skype Wendy, I'll let you know.

Skype chat is fun, but can run away with hours of time if you don't watch out.

may start an assorted nuts skype group if enough interested

I'd be happy to join a group...I'll PM you. :) I have been thinking, since Jeff passed, that I should get to know people better. What was it that Bilbo said? "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like..." (Uh, never mind the rest of it!).

Given my post count, and the fact that I'm a CV, I clearly can't call myself a lurker, but I'm usually not a very chatty person either online or off. I just updated my profile so that people can learn a little more about me.

    You might say that :)
He turned 9 in March, is a Morgan horse. They are the only horse named after the person that started the breed...and it was started in New Jersey! Only 180,000 in the world according to Wikipedia. I go through LOTS of grooming de-tangler/conditioner sprays.

    Now back to Wendy.
I think the group is a great idea. However, for me, I tend to get sidetracked pretty easily- I also want to post my questions in the forums because in a group, it only helps the group. For chit chat and support though, I think you all will have a lot of fun and encouragement. Some really, really neat people here in the forums.

    This is why I don't like using it. I don't multi-task well.

Multi tasking is fun Can get a bit confusing though especially if you are chatting in multiple chat rooms at the same time. Can make for some weird conversations if you post the wrong answer in the wrong room. LOL
