You've given yourself a tough assignment. Here's an idea:
- Base figure: Kimm
- Skin: Babina or Jayla, but lighten the shaders and recolor the eyebrows in photoshop.
- Key HD morph & extra morph: Blend in some Frida. This is your golden ticket to those distinct skin lines. Add some Jayla for eye/cheek resemblance.
ive been lookkng for a mena suvari (around the day of the dead 2008 time) .. .and a bruce campbell (round army of darkness 1992 time) ... have tried sveral times to "sculpt" my own .. but always just look off
ive tried to use facetransfer and headshop and 1 other and they didnt do to well either ... and i tried to tweek from their outputs still bad outcomes ...
any help would be amazing
thanks
Does anyone know of a good Millie Bobby Brown or Sophia Lillis morph?
Don't know of a Sophia Lillis but there is a morph only Millie Bobby Brown for Genesis 3 Female here
Ellie - DAZ Studio - ShareCG
If you start out with Tristan 8, you could easily work your way to Bruce Campbell. Just requires some darkening of the eyebrows, thicker eyelashes and keep nudging all your morph options until you get that distinct top of his nose/brow/tighteyes right, that scowl. Once you have that down, it's just tweaking for details. Pose him with either his signature car salesman smile (high mouth corners, teeth lower) or his closed mouth default (mouth in a single line, high bottom lip pushed over top teeth).
Perhaps Second-Circle's Moon?
Could've sworn I knew of several, but alas my reference library is currently empty.
thnaks novastrider ... ill try that
heres what i did so far with bruce and the pic i was going for following a tutorial i found ...
started with g8m base ...
thanks RayDAnt ,, try to work off moon and see what happens
here is what i got by myself so far ,,, using face transfer adt tweak method ..
i mean they are not bad ... but just dont seem right to me
You've got a good start there.
I'd advise to always make portraits in Iray Preview mode, because working from Texture Mode gives you a false perspective and wrong coloration ideas. Set-up a room with nice, neutral white soft, daylight livingroom lighting or a portrait studio (no overbright studio light, you need to see all grooves and shadows too, especially how it falls over the eyebrows).
Start general with base shape matching, like you did here. Pick a model/morph that looks most like the person and start punching/presurizing the face of the shape, while looking at photos from your person from all directions (front, side, half-side view). Focus on general eye depth, cheecks, jaw and nose size and shapes first, then start matching the eyes in as high detail as you can. Get every little angle as correct as possible (eyes are the most important thing ever to make it feel right).
Then look for a skin texture that most closely resembles the skin of your muse. Pay special attention to matching the age of the skin first (more detailed skins with lots of grooves are often better for most portraits than just pretty clear skins), 2nd thing to look for is matching eyebrow shapes (although those can be fixed in photoshop or with fibermesh) and nasolabial lines and lip shape. Don't worry about skin color: this is by far the easiest to change by shifting the colors in the shader (turn down aaaall those ugly reds and turn them to slighly white/yellow for 9 out of 10 models) or by fixing it in photoshop.
Apply the skin and start tweaking the model in more detail (in Iray Preview, you need to see what you are doing on the final product). Now start paying attention to little things like 'how are the teeth placed in my muse?' Look at photos from when they smile and laugh: which muscles are moving around: do they have overbite or underbite? are their teeth places forward or backward, big or small. This has a huge impact on getting a portrait right and for when you pose them in the final picture. Also: how deep is their nose compared to their chin? How thick are the sides of their head? How did this person change over the years? Am I making a dreamlike impression of them from what everyone thinks they look like or am I paying tribute to them in a certain period of their life? These are important choices because peoples faces change massively between their 20s and 40s.
Done with all these steps? Now you get to pick and add the hair and look at your model in a new light! Did you get it right? Go ahead and look at it with fresh eyes and tweak some more. Do they have any facial marks you should photoshop in? Do they have darker, brooding eyes then what you are getting in your render? Well, maybe paint a few shades of transparent black over those eyes in Photoshop.
Done with this bit: add some clothes that match the person and check again if you are getting the right impression. Is their head too big for the body? Should you manipulate the hair a bit more to make it less present? Keep tweaking till you get it right!
Thank you very much for the recipe! I've put all those figures in my wishlist, now it's just a waiting game for them to go on a good sale. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone on Renderosity will do a character based on her sometime.
V3D Nicole as Katy Perry?
One of the rare occasions, where I'm able to give a wholeheartly "Aye!" as a comment.
Only the "I used a combination of photos and hand painting for her face texture to achieve an unique look" in the promo makes me giggle a bit, when frankly the opposite - a special look, reminding of a certain person - is achieved.
Also, everybody knows that Katy Perry and Zoe Deschanel are the same person, so it's not even unique in that respect.
I fail to see a strong resemblance between Katy and Zooey -- After purchasing V3DNicole, I now have Four 3D Celebrity Look-a-likes for the lovely Ms Perry, but have not yet obtained a single 3D Celebrity Look-a-like for the lovely Ms. Deschanel
Does anyone think this model looks like a young Rosario Dawson?

thanks again novastrider ..
i will put all that into practice!
You fell for a simple trick by the vendors.
Neither of them claimed to be doing a Katy Perry look-a-like. That has always been said by the community. So there is a high probability that you have at least 2 Zoe Deschanels among the 4 loook-a-likes.
The fantasy themed promos throw me off a bit. If there is a resemblance I only see it in this one
Good spot, front page list updated.
Zooey Denschanel is high on my list of clones to obtain -- I do not see any trace of Zooey in any of my four Katy clones
Me too. I would use it to make Ashoka, so hair and skin wouldn't matter.
Yeah, Ahsoka skin and Montrals with that morph would work well.
According to Clarifai, Mikayla is a toss-up between Pamela Anderson, Imogen Poots, Katrina Bowden, Fergie of Black Eyed Peas, & Stephanie Corneliussen.
StarByFace thinks she's mostly Olivia Holt.
I'm suprised no one's done a Milana Vayntrub model yet.
Perhaps all of the Published Artists fear the Wrath of AT&T
There exists images posted to the internet where Katy and Zooey are wearing similar mascara and hairstyles -- Those are artificial similarities -- Katy and Zooey are in no way doppelgangers
Quite old but as I'm currently watching "Designated Survivor" I cannot help it but see a strong resemblance between Italia Ricci and PS Rowan.
Even they admit the resemblance between them.

My interest is in obtaining a convincing 3D clone of Zooey -- V3DNicole is an outstanding 3D clone of Katy -- I lack the skill to transform an arbitrary 3D figure into even a passable 3D clone of Zooey
