So like can we finally expect a pack of cigarettes for V? Search for cigarette or smoke and no smokes come up. Whats up?
Really not a single cigarette sold in the stores search yet we have the latest vape pen. Like nobody made a Euro or Asian render w/o cigarette?- that ain't real!
How about the old cowboy doing the one hand roll leaning up against the hitching post- it would be a classic scene to render.

What's a drug reference got to do with environmentalism?

Ya lost me - environmentalism? --- I get it.. No I was referring to "Green + " as in vape pens and hookas are used by the "Green Cross" dispensary clinics. At least that's the codename they use here in Cali.

But I like how you are thinking.

V4 Cuore di Moda comes with a cigar (there are a few other sets with cigars, too). The Off Limits texture expansion includes a preset for turning the cigar into a cigarette.

I'd assumed the "+" was a typo or some sort of 'interwebz emoticon shortcut' and this was some kind of veiled anti-environmentalist post. :blank:

Never heard of the Green Cross before - just googled that.

Quite a few of the PA's are former smokers who have moved to vaping for harm control. I don't know how green that makes any of us though.

Harm Control would make an awesome product name.

I have a vape, I went back to smoking a pipe. I like the flavor better and the spiritual high! lmao

As much as I hate smoking cigs I do agree. Most folks I know are either trying to quit or still enjoying the habit so it would be only apropriate to have a pack with a morph to bring up a few of them and a cig with and without a lit tip. Some smoke props to go along with it with some movement morphs. No reason to make all the renders non smoking if 1/2 the world is engaging in that habit.

Nice pack, it's in the cart.

I can not imagine any pipe tastes as good as my homemade Bavarian cream or torrone! Course I am prone to sweets so that may be why I think that.

Ohhhh.. and yick! I was thinking you meant cherry pipe tobacco..it at least smells pretty. The other..Not so much.

BTW..if you look you will see that Val's pens are clearly for e-liquid and not dry stuff.

Has anybody done clinical studies about the "harm control" claim? I haven't heard of any, and neither has Health Canada (which is why one isn't allowed to say that in the ads in Canada). Mere curiosity on my part - I'm allergic to nicotine, so I never took up the habit.

Yes. There has been research. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that going from hundreds of chemicals and alkaloids down to 3 is going to be potentially less harmful. There has also been quite a bit of research about the brain benefits of nicotine. Currently they are working on nicotine based anti depressants and Alzheimer drugs.

Shame about the nicotine allergy..I don't know if I could live without tomatoes, potatoes, broccoli and all the other veg that contain nicotine.

I don't know about that according to my rocket scientist of staff, technically by not understanding the consequences with respect to toxicity buildup over time, you may be actually increasing risk by further concentrating and not spreading the risk . Its Russian roulette unless you know for sure.

For the same reason I wouldn't try a vape pen if I squashed the last roach on earth. At least until I learned alot more and the effect of long term use is understood.

The "Vapor Pens and Hookah" have nothing to do with what you're talking about,.

Actually a lot, especially in the last couple of years. Here are a couple of links if you are interested.

While toxicity and build up can happen with anything, including the water we drink, there is no evidence of greater risk to vapers than smokers. If anything less since they have more control over the levels. Nor is there any real evidence that people are placing them selves at risk due to a long term use of nicotine. Most people assume that they are nicotine free but the truth is that almost no humans are. The CDC did a random test of, I think, 300 people and every one of them tested possessive. Now based on a smoking statistic I saw recently that would mean that about 80% of the people tested were positive due to diet. Almost everyone is willing to eat something with potato or tomato at some point. And then there is niacin (b3), which was called nicotinic acid until the name was changed in 1942 in order to distance it from nicotine. You would be astonished by the volume of research done on nicotine in the last 25 years and the volume that has been done already on vaping. There is a doctor in Europe who has pretty much dis-proven all of the studies paid for by big pharm.. who has their own agenda for the medicinal use of nicotine in the future.

Believe it or not they are illegal in some states here in Australia, and in the states where they are legal it's illegal to sell any of the gizmos you put in them containing nicotine.

Which is ironic since Australia actually approved a nicotine inhaler as a smoking cessation product.

While there is no doubt that e cigarettes are safer than regular cigarettes, one must remember: nicotine is a poison. So toxic it was once used as an insecticide. E cigarettes are safer, but not completely safe.

That's right, I used to use one, still have one of the plastic covers that you put the module in. It's all to do with the wording of the law to sell nicotine products. The crazy thing is that if I owned one I can order the nicotine modules from overseas and that is OK.

Nicotine doesn't build up in your system. The effects of nicotine on the human body are about the same as caffeine.

Here's a very informational link about nicotine. http://www.ecigarette-politics.com/the-great-nicotine-myth.html

Always look at who funds studies. Many medical studies especially are so horribly flawed as to be considered junk science.
